We're super excited to be apart of this event and be able to give back and participate as an official sponsor ... Tallebudgera Creek was the first place we took Winchester out on a Paddle board. 09.01.2022 Thanks to the many hands of volunteers (and furry paws ) and local businesses, the Land and Sea Clean at Tallebudgera Creek was a huge success! Check out Winnies haul! While it might not seem huge there were 108 cigarette butts, and over 300 tiny pieces of hard plastics, wrappers, foils and paper...at least half a dozen hair ties, countless fragments of fabric and several chunks of polystyrene We were honestly shocked! (The look of disapproval from Winnie says it all!) ...From first glance the beach appears clean...but look a little closer and you are guaranteed to find tiny scraps of rubbish EVERYWHERE! So our challenge and mission as a company and personally is to collect 10 pieces of rubbish every time we go to the beach, or out to a park or even on our daily dog walks. That's a potential 3650 pieces of rubbish recycled and/removed before ending up in our waterways or ingested by native animals and birds! Every piece counts!
