04.01.2022 Register now on our website to see Stephen Cleary live for Part Two of his dialogue WINDA Lab, You Talkin’ to Me? Naturalistic conversations are incredibly structured and is very much a craft in itself. Stephen Cleary says, subtext and status underpin all conversations. In these workshops, Stephen looks at speech patterns, rhythm, musicality, vocabulary, and syntax and how these all define character. Part One of this dialogue workshop focused on subtext, and how to use this to strategically play with character motive and truth within the story. Now, it’s time to focus on status. You will not need to have seen Part One of ‘You Talkin’ to Me?’ to participate in Part Two, but if you want to check out Stephen’s incredible lab on subtext, you can register and view following the link on our website!
