Our dedicated outdoor area allows you as Pet Owners to remain with your pet during the process. Please book ahead to advise us of your wishes so we can enable this to run smoothly.

16.01.2022 Meet nurse Tanja, who started her career 26-years ago studying through the Ithaca Tafe in Brisbane and has experience running her own puppy pre-school. Her love of animals has recently seen her return to vet nursing with the WVS team. At home she has: Beautiful Bella (Maltese Shih Tzu) Cheeky Bailey (Chihuahua) and a cat named Prince (Devon Rex).

12.01.2022 Listen up: We have treated several pets already with Tick Paralysis, earlier than usual. Dont get caught out! We have preventative medications for both cats and dogs and when used on time are highly effective and safe. Ticks can kill. Simparica, Bravecto, Revolution plus are all products that are used.

Tracey graduated from James Cook University in Townsville and is the most recent addition to our team. She has been all over the world working in the industry, with some highlights being assisting with African Painted Dog reproduction research in Namibia, investigating river dolphin mortalities in Nepal, and working in a spey and neuter clinic in India.

07.01.2022 Tick alert! With the recent rain we have seen a spike in tick paralysis cases. This is Rocky who presented with wobbly back legs and a loss of a bark. ... We found a massive tick. Rocky was not on tick prevention. Thankfully, Rocky recovered. Tick paralysis is easily preventable. Please discuss with us the options available for your pet.
