20.01.2022 ROSTHWAITE FARM IS HIRING We are looking for someone to come and work with us in the beautiful Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia. Rosthwaite ...farm is a showjumping yard with around 25 horses in work and between 40-50 young horses. We travel all over to attend some of the nicest shows Australia has to offer. James is one of the leading riders in the country competing at the very top of sport. We also produce young horses and train them for sale and for showjumping competition. We also run a riding school and teach a bunch of aspiring riders. We running coaching programs for three local schools, weekday afternoons, including holiday camps. The ideal candidate will need the following . Experience in looking after competition horses. Experience in grooming at competitions ( plaiting, clipping, grooming to a high standard and having good time management at events to make sure the horses are at the ring on time). Any knowledge of breeding is an added bonus but not a necessity. Driving license. Someone that is clean and tidy not only on the yard but in the house as well. MUST have a sense of Humour and be able to have fun as well as take your job very seriously. Any teaching/coaching experience is a bonus Be polite and friendly on the yard with clients and the rest of the team. Be able to work independently and show initiative. This is a grooming position although some riding is available for the right person. We have a lot of fun on the yard and all love what we do but we also all work very hard, but it makes it easier to work hard when you are doing what you love with great people surrounding you. You will be given as much responsibility and trust as you show us you can handle For the right person we can offer your farm work which will allow you to apply for your 2nd year visa. 16.01.2022 My nerves were literally shot with Mitch & Greg and James & Amo both in the Grand Prix @ 1.45 - 1.50m track! Great finish to the weekend with Greg and Mitch com...peting in their 1st Grand Prix for the year. A tough track and only Greg’s 3rd outing for the year! 4 faults in round 1 and 4 faults in round 2. Looking forward to more shows!! Amo finished in 3 rd place and I couldn’t wipe the smile from my face. Thank you so much to Edwena for all her tireless work and her team!

Well done and huge praise for Taly who did an amazing day being on top of everything for her first show with us and competing her beautiful boy as well as keeping everything in perfect order. Don't know what I would do without you?? You have become quite the asset and we love you! All the horses jum...ped well, Lucas coming 3rd in his class, Ellie a little off having 1 down, Greg smashing out the 1.40m with ease. Great seeing some familiar faces today ;) Looking forward to keeping the cobwebs off the truck and the gear. Forgot we bought a new truck and haven't used it much. 11.01.2022 Hot weekend out at Stonewall, extremely challenging! Greg jumped clear in the first round of the Grand Prix but had a couple down in the jump off! Krissy and Heath went out of their way to accommodate both horses, riders and spectators. Can’t thank them enough for the care first and foremost for everyone there.
