22.01.2022 HAPPY BIRTHDAY Windmill Hill Medical turns 1 today ! Thanks to all of our patients for supporting our practice over the last year and we look forward to caring for you into the future. We would also like to acknowledge all the hard work that has been put in by the team to make the practice one of the premier GP practices of Launceston.... We could never had predicted how the world would look 1 year after our opening so we won't be having any parties anytime soon!

15.01.2022 As of Monday March 30th, Windmill Hill Medical will be focussing on utilising telehealth to deliver high quality care to our patients. As you are aware, the government has made sweeping changes to general practice to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We realise this is an uncertain time for the community and our patients and we would like to reassure you that the team at Windmill Hill Medical will continue to provide care both face-to-face and via telehealth. We ask that patient...s call the practice to request a telehealth consult with their usual doctor or to be triaged for face-to-face consultation. Patients seen face-to-face will be treated by our clinical staff in personal protective equipment (PPE). We believe this model will protect our patients, staff and the wider community in limiting the spread of COVID-19.

13.01.2022 Our influenza immunisation clinic is booked for Friday 17th of April at the Windmill Hill Memorial Hall (see map below). Please call the Practice on 67760080 to book. Our staff can run through our influenza immunisation consent form with you over the phone or alternatively the form can be downloaded from our website (www.windmillhillmedical.com). We are only immunising patients in this clinic who have pre-booked to allow us to run the clinic smoothly and take appropriate COVID-19 precautions.

09.01.2022 The Australian Government has ended mandatory bulk-billing of MBS Telehealth item numbers. However, Windmill Hill Medical will continue to bulk-bill all Telehealth consults to support our patients and the community affected economically by COVID-19
