25.01.2022 GALA AWARDS EVENING FOR THE WCAA On the 16th May 2015 the WCAA hosted its Annual Gala Awards for excellence in the Industry. It was a fantastic evening at the Pagoda Ballroom with Dinner, DJ and floorshow. We introduced 2 new awards this year, opening the categories more to the interior design side of the industry Our Awards this year and winners were as follows: RETAIL SHOWROOM OF THE YEAR 2015( was a tie this year)... 02.01.2022 The Gala Awards this Year we decided to add 2 new categories. Window Treatment of the Year and Soft Furnishing Project of the Year. Scoop Publishing judged the Soft Project of the Year and Julie McNamara from Mokum Textiles judged the Window Treatment of the Year We are hoping to expand on these awards in 2016 and increase the number of entries. Non Members are welcome to submit work for the awards for a nominal fee... Below are the Winners of this years awards: the YU Interior winner was selected for the detail of fabric selection and hue selection which has created a space that is modern and yet timeless. Design Decor was selected for the detail of the workmanship for the traditional curtains with matching blind and elaborate trimmings
