Space2b Social Design Space2b is an art and design social enterprise established to build a better future for newly arrived migrants and refugees based on Chapel Street, St Kilda. We are excited to partner with Space2b to present the Heads High Art Awards - a community mini-Archibald style competition and exhibition. Local artists have submitted portraits of local Melbourne celebrities or well-known local identities to be displayed at Space2b la...ter this year. 15.01.2022 Over the next couple of weeks, we are excited to introduce our latest grant recipeints. Reading Out of Poverty (ROOP) ... ROOP look at ways to engage families with young children who are isolated, experience socio-economic disadvantage and are not engaged in formal early childhood programs such as kindergarten. ... We are excited to partner with ROOP to support an online early childhood literacy-based community forum and resources for mothers who live locally particularly from low-socioeconomic and CALD backgrounds and have pre-school children. The forum will provide free educational early childhood resources, free literacy apps, read-aloud videos, audiobook resources, eBooks, networks and contacts. 'We believe literacy skills are foundational in the educational journey and the pathway to a child reaching their full potential. So, we strive to see all children discover the joy of reading and writing in their early years.
