22.01.2022 Windsor High School has been selected as 1 of 150 schools in Australia to be offered the opportunity to be apart of the What’ll happen with the wattle program. One Giant Leap Australia will be sending wattle seeds to the International Space Station this November in collaboration with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). The seeds will be in space for 6 months and then return to Australia in time for Science Week 2021. Supported by the Australian Space Agency, the program will run for many years to come and will give the students an opportunity to compare the growth of the ‘space seeds’ vs seeds not sent to space. This is a great program that Mrs Ruis, Mr Philp and students are incredibly excited to be apart of, and thoroughly enjoyed making the successful application.

08.01.2022 A friendly reminder to all parents/carers and students that tomorrow is expected to be another hot day. Students should bring a drink bottle to school and can use our filtered water system to refill in their breaks. How lucky are we that all of our classrooms are air conditioned and we can enjoy that comfort on days like tomorrow!
