20.01.2022 Just a thought... As Our Premier is trying to figure out how to ease back in to a new normal, please keep in mind no one has ever done this before, so please remember: Some people dont agree with businesses opening.... thats okay. Be kind. Some people are still planning to stay home.... thats okay. Be kind. Some are still scared of getting the virus and a second wave happening....thats okay. Be kind.... Some are sighing with relief to go back to work knowing they may not lose their business or their homes....thats okay. Be kind. Some are thankful they can finally have a surgery they have put off....thats okay. Be kind. Some will be able to attend interviews after weeks without a job....thats okay. Be kind. Some will wear masks for weeks....thats okay. Be kind. Some people will rush out to get the hair or nails done.... thats okay. Be kind. The point is, everyone has different viewpoints/feelings and thats okay. Be kind. We each have a different story. If you need to stay home, stay home. But be kind . If you need to go out, just respect others when in public and be kind! Dont judge fellow humans because youre not in their story. We all are in different mental states than we were months ago. So remember, be kind. Please copy and share this reminder for kindness. See more

19.01.2022 Shout out to the lovely Fiona who delivered these to us today.

19.01.2022 PRODUCE UPDATE We have now entered unprecedented circumstances in regards to Australian produce - in their 20 years of running this side of the business..., Michael & Johnny have never seen anything like this. Not only have we had the drought and floods, which would have increased prices around this time, but now with the increased demand due to consumer panic/pandemic, the supply and demand is unbelievable. Weve tried to source as much produce for the best prices possible, so whilst we still have our large variety of premium produce, we have worked on having a larger range of ugly produce which is more affordable for many people. Many of you are aware that Ugly just means not absolutely perfect on the outside, whilst remaining absolutely delicious on the inside ~ so this not only helps the farmers who have been unable to onsell to the larger companies but also helps with food wastage in Australia in general. 24/7 TRADE continues at our Fruit Market at Everton Park, and we continue to receive fresh stock daily. Our Online team are continuing to take orders for Contactless Home Deliveries at this stage. Theyre doing their absolute best to keep customers updated in regards to timeframes and replacement items. We will continue to do our best at keeping you updated, and keeping fresh fruit and veg available to our community Charlies Fruit Market ~ OPEN 24/7 ~ 473 South Pine Road Everton Park, Brisbane Online Ordering for Home Delivery: www.charliesfruitmarket.com.au #charliesfruitmarket #brisbanefood

10.01.2022 We all grow at different rates, so spend less time comparing yourself to others and more time reflecting and celebrating your progress. Just as being kind to others is beneficial to your wellbeing, being kind to yourself is really important too #SelfLove

10.01.2022 Noticed a subtle change in a friend's behviour, but feel a little nervous checking-in to see how they are? The most important thing to remember is that there is... no right or wrong way to ask how someone is going. The below steps from our friends at Beyond Blue can help you to navigate the conversation. > Ask. They'll let you know if they want to talk. > Listen. Sometimes all a friend needs is someone to listen. > Support. Offer support or help them find the support that might be suitable for them.

09.01.2022 Well done keeping us all safe

05.01.2022 One thing I've learnt to have every day in life is gratitude. It's so important to be grateful for everything we do have in our lives, as others may... not have that. Sometimes it's hard to be grateful when all life seem to do is throw & limes at us constantly! And I know how that feels! It's not fun and it's not uplifting. Learning & putting gratitude into practice made me appreciate even the smallest things. Having a grateful heart also allows peace and happiness to flow through you every single day!
