13.01.2022 We’re heartbroken by the devastation the fires on Authentic Kangaroo Island have caused. Our sincere thoughts are with all those who have lost loved ones, their... livelihoods, homes and properties. The tragic loss of wildlife, habitats and the impact on our national parks is devastating. The #KangarooIsland #community have already started to band together to rebuild, but their sobering resilience and strength will need our help. Help to rebuild the physical damage, their economy and their spirits. When the fires are out and it’s safe to visit, grab some mates and #gowithemptyeskys on a road trip to #KI. Buy food from the local shops, fill your car with petrol at #VivonneBay, camp and donate to the iron ranger, buy their free range eggs and eat out at the pub. Every night. Jump on a tour with a local operator and hear their story and at the end of the day, cheers to the volunteer firefighters and the SA Country Fire Service with Kangaroo Island Spirits gin for keeping us safe. In the meantime, send some love across to Kangaroo Island and get planning for your trip to one of the most special places you’ll ever see.
