21.01.2022 Judging is officially completed on this year's Gippsland Wine Show, with some brilliant results. As planning goes ahead for the awards presentation on December 15, we would like to take the opportunity to thank a new sponsor - Maffra Business and Tourism Association. Generous sponsorship from this group is greatly appreciated. Results from the show will be published on our website after presentations. Sadly due to COVID restrictions we can only have a set number of people at our event. If tickets become available to the general public we will advertise them on this page in the next few days.

We are excited to announce that once again Glasdec has come on board to support the show and will be providing a glass for each guest as a take home gift at the awards celebration.

07.01.2022 Judging is progressing nicely at the Gippsland Wine Show with the Shiraz class poured and ready to go. Results will be published on the Wine Gippsland website after the presentation evening on December 15.

06.01.2022 The way our cellar door operates has had to change to manage the new restrictions put in place to adhere to the Victorian Government’s COVID Rules. We are have ...been evolving things as we go so that we are able to balance being COVID Safe with demand while continuing to offer our take on a cellar door experience. We open Friday to Sunday 11am 5pm. What's on offer: Wine Tasting from $9 (45 mins) Taste of East Gippsland Experience - a curated food and wine tasting showcasing some of our favourite food from the region built around our Single Block wines $65 for two (45 mins). Drinks on the Deck - enjoy a glass of our wine on the deck while taking the views over to the vineyard or down the Mitchel River Valley with a Taste of East Gippsland Platter. We also have a selection of local beers if wine is not your thing (up to 2hrs). The specifics: The number of guests in our tasting room is strictly limited to no more than 4 groups of up to 6 people (excluding take away sales). If you just want to enjoy a glass of wine and take in the view book a table on the deck - they can fit up to 8 people. Bookings are strongly recommended, our space is limited and fills up quickly. To be COVID Safe, tastings will be seated and a little more self directed. All guests will be required to provide contact details upon entry to our tasting room to support contact tracing. We prefer everyone to use a contactless payment method. If anyone in your group is showing signs of illness on the day, we ask that you return to visit us another time. 05.01.2022 We’d like to introduce you to these three fabulous ladies from our Narkoojee team. This weekend they will be shaving off their hair in support of their work col...league Jo, and to raise funds for the Latrobe Regional Hospital Traralgon Gippsland Cancer Care Centre (GCCC). Deanna, our Venue Manager. The go to for all things Restaurant and Events. She is passionate about helping others in her community, for amazing food (she’s also a qualified chef) and absolutely adores her gorgeous family. Deanna joined us at Narkoojee this year, and despite the COVID challenges she continually approaches each day with an infectious positive energy and professional leadership to be admired. Karen, is our Accounts and HR Manager but also wears many hats at Narkoojee including cellar door, restaurant and in-house photographer. When not at her desk you’ll find her pursuing her love for photography or taking some time out to enjoy a day fishing with her partner Dave. A very proud mum to her boys and her wonder dog Buddy, that has already had more than nine lives. Kerrie, is our longest serving employee (21 years & counting). She’s as loyal as they come and an ever reliable all rounder in our vineyard and labelling room. Born and bred in Glengarry, she’s incredibly proud of her town and community, would do anything for her kids and grandkids, loves her fishing and is partial to a Narkoojee Sparkling Red! The two ‘sold out’ fundraising nights will be held this Friday 13th and Saturday 14th November at Narkoojee.
