24.01.2022 Headed to the Clare Valley this June Long weekend and looking for something quirky to do? How about lunch in your own private tent?!

23.01.2022 We are looking forward to welcoming you this long weekend. It’s been a busy week of rearranging tables and chairs, setting up seated tasting areas, and getting the hang of the ‘new norm’ of cellar door. As a worker in an industry where we are usually trying to fit in more seating, it’s been surreal to have to remove tables and chairs to run with the covid protocols but I think the whole valley has done an amazing job to cater for this coming weekend. ... Please keep in mind if you are visiting the Clare Valley or any regional tourism spots, that we are doing all we can to run with the times. Be nice to the staff, & keep your cool if you have to wait to be seated or get in the door. The limited numbers are going to take a little while to get used to and we are all doing our best. Here’s the list of the Cellar Doors open in Clare this weekend - bookings for tastings are best to secure you a spot. Cheers to the weekend!

23.01.2022 CELLAR DOORS OF THE CLARE VALLEY Kirrihill Wines Pierre looked after us in Cellar Door while the kids lazed in beanbags on the deck. ... Kirrihill is located on the edge of Clare, right next to the @Clare Rise Bakery 1985. We bribed the kids with the promise of donuts next door while we did our tasting. (Keep in mind the bakery is not open on Sundays) Multiple tasting flights to choose from, with a couple of palate cleansing canapés included. Montepulciano stood out & hubby loved the award winning Shiraz.

23.01.2022 Winey Times Clare Valley is back! Hi All, Skye here from the Clare Valley, after taking a short hiatus from the page, I’m now gearing up for a bigger and better 2020!... I’ll be sharing experiences and offerings from the Clare Valley, but still happy to receive messages to share on the page of experiences or recommendations in other regions. Very excited that the new Expressway opened today! The Clare Valley is even more accessible now with the opening of this road, and the trip from Adelaide airport to Clare is only 90mins. Looking for something to do this long weekend? Why not a drive to the Clare Valley!

22.01.2022 Coffee education - there is so much to learn! Similar to wine, coffee flavors can change depending on the growing region, climate, soils, altitude, and how it is processed and treated after harvest. Hayden from Horrock's Bounty Coffee Roaster... gave an in depth lesson on how best to extract coffee and the different brew methods can alter the coffee taste profile. Passionate about coffee, he is a local Clare coffee roaster, and only deals with organic sustainably grown beans. Hayden also sells the different coffee brewers and equipment. Even one to take camping so you don’t have to go without your fresh coffee! The Watervale General Store hosted the event this afternoon and will be hosting more with Hayden in the future due to popularity of today. Keep your eyes peeled for the next one!
