Last fire season a fire truck was hit by a car speeding through dense smoke. Help keep firefighters safe and don't be a clown; slow down!

But if your fire will exceed two metres in any direction, you'll need a Permit to Light Fire. Here’s how: Contact your local council to see if you can have a fire. Let your neighbours know you intend to light a fire and your intention to apply for a Permit. Complete the application form including a map of the proposed burn area. Contact your local Fire Warden to submit your application.
