18.01.2022 Scary how easily this can happen.

16.01.2022 My travels to NSW VIC and TAS come to an end shortly. I have now delivered copies of my book to family and friends. If you have not received a copy let me know and I will send. Thank you everyone for your kind reviews. When I return home I can start writing again incorporating so many stories handed down through family members. Thank you Jocelyn for the dynamite story, Lynnette for the mustering stories, Meta for the Eberle history in Hobart, The history of Tasmania, the convict stories. My dear friend Marion for sharing her childhood memories. All of this with the other states and family stories. My own childhood memories that are now more vibrant, blackberries, dairy cows, wooden boxes for furniture and the soup stone.. This INLAND SAILOR has been on a wonderful adventure.

15.01.2022 I have been putting off marketing my book. I have finished my northern Australia travels. I need to spend some time marketing my book Winged time one way, and starting the sequel. Can those who received a copy please post their comments for review. Would be helpful thank you.

15.01.2022 Back from travelling. Time to get the vege patch sorted

14.01.2022 In 1999 I wrote my book. At that time there was much talk about the end of the world with new year 2000 approaching. I couldn’t help but think about that and how people would survive in this modern world if all of a sudden they had no electricity. Our land has no power. I realised how simple life could be. What resulted was my story about three families and their journey. How they came to live in what may be the only community still existing in their country. My book i...s fiction and should appeal to older teens and adults. What would happen if all of a sudden there was no electricity? Where would people get their food, how would they communicate, travel? It is not about the end of the world it is about the end of the current lifestyle that we have all adopted. I became so passionate about this story that I hoped everyone would hear about it and really think about how reliant we are on electricity. Why aren’t we growing some of our own food, why are we spending so much money at the supermarkets? I have copies available selling for $15 ea. I will be placing a new order soon. best wishes Denise

11.01.2022 Wild rosella plants found in the Kimberley. Not yum without sugar but would be a food source.

03.01.2022 It is a little bit scary what is happening in our world today. When I wrote my book in 1999 I saw so much of the future. Every time a world event or conflict happened I would say I wrote that. Now is not the time to say I told you so. Now is the time to bring back true values. Not greed. How many of us caught up in debt. We are feeding the greedy. We have the ability to live a wonderful life but the greedy. Politicians head the list. Elec companies. Telco companies. Supermark...ets. Even doctors. They are very greedy people sucking our life away. If we did not need them they could not survive. They need us. And we do need good people to manage our wonderful country. I am not convinced that we have anyone at the moment who really has our best interests. . We have to work or the current mob not be paid. Live humbly. free. Mother natures gifts are there for us all. The problem is that we are overpopulating and being herded into big cities. Control is easier in big cities. The world is being infested by greed. How do governments cull the population. How does mother earth. I think with recent world events they are all in areas where most population live. Having spent some time travelling I still wonder why we are all being herded into cities. Because the land that is available is owned by overseas countries or given to native title. It was sad to see how our aboriginal families live at the communities on native title. They are not free either. They rely on their pension payments spending huge money in stores probably owned by overseas companies. I do not have the answer I only know we should be having a wonderful life in this wonderful country of ours. God bless Australia. See more

02.01.2022 Kununurra is an area in WA fed by the waters of Lake Argyle. There is plenty of water and sunshine feeding this fertile land. and a port Wyndham not far away. A very self sustainable area. However a long long way from most larger centres. Fuel needed to reach this place overland would be difficult to obtain in desperate times. Going by sea would be be option.
