11.01.2022 Behind the Bench Hi my name is Julie John Paul and I have been a part of this club since 1981 so Softball is in my blood. I am on the committee helping out in many ways behind the scenes. I love this club as it has given me the opportunity to play a sport with my whole family. My parents ran the canteen, dad coached, mum was manager & us 4 kids played, my children & nieces & nephew played in a great sport together. ... Dislikes: Sauce on my burgers Favourite Softball position: Anywhere except pitching Favourite song: Jesses Girl ( especially karaoke ) One word to describe you: Grateful Fun fact: I love to travel with lots of adventurous stuff & also inventing the goon handbag. I love the fact that my 2 daughters also play softball for Wingers. Dislikes: ummmm.. none really! That I have to go to training?... Favourite Softball Position: First base (but Im learning 2nd!) I joined Wingers a few years ago and love spending my Saturday afternoons with a great bunch of girls. I also enjoy being on the committee and contributing to our club and the softball community.
