The purpose of the respiratory clinic is to assess, test and diagnose mild-to-moderate respiratory conditions, including COVID-19, influenza and pneumonia. Clinic bookings are ONLY for symptomatic patients.... Patients with any of the following symptoms are strongly encouraged to make an appointment to attend the clinic: - Fever - Dry cough - Sore throat - Runny or stuffy nose - Shortness of breath Patients with any of the following symptoms may also make an appointment to attend the clinic: - Loss of taste or smell - Aches and pains - Headache - Conjunctivitis - Diarrhoea - A rash on skin or discoloration of fingers or toes All patients tested for COVID-19 are required to and must home isolate until test results are provided by medical staff. This clinic is by appointment only and is free for patients. People who meet any of the following criteria are encouraged to book a telehealth appointment with their regular GP in the first instance: over 70, or over 50 and identifies as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background, or has a long term health condition, or pregnant or a parent of a child under 12 months. If telehealth is not possible for you, consider booking one of the appointment times at this respiratory clinic. The entrance to the respiratory clinic is at the rear of HealthHub Taree at 15 Butterworth Lane. This is directly behind the French Taste Bakery at 4/19 Pulteney St. It is best to park in Pulteney St or in the Butterworth carpark. Arrive just prior to your appointment and wait in your vehicle and the TRC Administrator will call you for further instructions. You must enter via Butterworth Lane as you cannot pass through the main surgery.
