24.01.2022 Enormous Effort! Picture below of young Charli Issanchon, she is a 12 year old who fed and prepped this steer. She entered privately under Pact Pastoral and with this steer come away with 3rd in the Heavyweights and the 3rd highest score in the competition.... Great Results Charli.



21.01.2022 The Wingham Beef Week AGM was held last Wednesday September the 2nd. During the AGM we filled the executive committee positions for the 2021 event. WBW President - Matt Martin... WBW Vice President - Joshua Gilbert WBW Treasurer - Matthew Fawcett WBW Secretary - Jennifer Rowe Event positions to be discussed and filled during the next meeting. 19.01.2022 The Adele Rule Trophy!! This trophy is awarded to the school with the highest scoring carcase. This year it was awarded to Chatham High School with Tag 57, a British white with 92.05 points, it was the winner of our Light Middleweight Class.... Congratulations Chatham High School

19.01.2022 Champion Pen of 2! now we had some pretty impressive pens of cattle that were paired together in the pen of 2 challenge. now I am sure that no one will be suprised when they see these cattle.... The Winner of the Pen of 2 went to L & K James (Wallawong) with Tag 126 our Grand Champion Carcase and tag 130. Congratulations L & K James

17.01.2022 Wingham Beef Week - AGM WBW will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday the 2nd of September 2020. The committee are searching for new members who want to help grow our event.... We are always searching for people to help during beef week and to organise the many events we hold during the week. We also encourage any students & young adults with a passion for agriculture who wish to help teach the next generation. The AGM will be held at Wingham Beef Exports, due to COVID-19 numbers will be limited and people will be required to be temperature tested. Keep an eye on this page for a link to join us via teleconference if you would prefer or can’t make it on the day. 14.01.2022 The Winners Continue..... this was an award that was not in the schedule, the Murray Grey society wanted to fund, being the most successful school. we looked at ways we could do this and we based the scores from allocating so many points for each placing the school had received.... The Most Successful School for WBW2020 goes to Wingham High School receiving 2 x second placings and a fourth. Congratulations Wingham High

10.01.2022 Exciting News for Future Beef Week Events. The cattle pavilion upgrade has commenced. With the old shed being pulled down, ready to build the new multi purpose shed. The committee are extremely excited to be able to utilise this new shed when it comes to the running of Beef Week.... The Showground is undergoing plenty of other upgrades which will help with future events. #WBW2021

09.01.2022 Reserve Champion Pen of 2! Now this really shows the objective and type from the breeder. The reserve Pen of 2 went to L & K James (Wallawong) with Tag 127 our Reserve Grand Champion Carcase and tag 125.... what an outstanding team they had presented to the competition. 02.01.2022 Jackpot Results!! The Beef Week Committee have worked out the jackpot results. 64 entries opted in to the Jackpot with a total of $1600 up for grabs. each jackpot winner received 80% of its classes jackpot fees.... the remainder 20% goes to the overall jackpot winner. Lightweight Jackpot went to L & K James = $80 Light Middleweight Jackpot went to Chatham High = $260 Heavy Middleweight Jackpot went to Quirindi High = $420 Heavyweight jackpot went to L & K James = $520 Overall Jackpot went to L & K James = $320 Congratulations to all. #WBW2020
