02.01.2022 ** A SPECIAL THANK YOU MESSAGE FROM OUR RODEO STEWARD, CARL SCHUBERT** This weekend’s rodeo was another successful event that continued to build on the past few years’ rodeos. A massive thanks to all those who helped out this year from the office to the arena and everything in between. To the judges, chute bosses, pick up team, bullfighters, contractors and all the arena workers, thanks for putting in the hours and helping make sure the rodeo ran as successfully as we could ...have hoped for. To all the competitors that entered up, a huge thank you to you as well. We were lucky to receive over 240 entries this year, which is fantastic considering the busy Christmas run and the lead up to the finals. All of you cowboys and cowgirls are what make the event the success it is. Congratulations to all of you who made it to the pay window last night. We were privileged to be asked to hold the year end presentation for the Seniors Bull Riding Association. Congratulations to all those winners as well. A big thanks to you, the spectators who once again braved the crazy heat and packed in to the hill to support our show. You rodeo fans and supporters are what is keeping the sport of rodeo alive and thriving in Australia and for that, we thank you. We were also availed the opportunity to sash our 2020 Wingham showgirl on the night. Congratulations to Claudia Greenaway for being a great young ambassador for the Wingham show society and the manning valley Thanks once again and we look forward to seeing you all again in January 2021.
