23.01.2022 The team at Wings and Fins would like to announce the newest team member Arthur Harrison Curry, Born Monday 13/01/2020 (just 12 days late ) at 9.03pm weighing 3.8kg. We would all like to congratulate our chef Emily and partner Shawn on the safe but late arrival of little Arthur, enjoy parenthood guys and welcome to the team little man.

21.01.2022 To all our lovely customers who have started messaging and calling to make bookings already we are just as excited as you are that we are allowed to open but unfortunately for us it’s not just as simple as opening the doors up. We need to have water flown in for our cray tanks (we emptied these when we had to shut the doors) we need to get the temp and cultures right for the crays to survive this could take 7-10days, we then need to have the Crays flown over from king island ...and not sure on the availability for them at this stage. We hope your all able to hold off just a few more weeks so not only can we have everything set up but we can have more than just the 20 customers inside, we’d hate to have to start turning you away already. 21.01.2022 We are opening FINALLY!! This THURSDAY...YES THURSDAY we will be opening our doors, please be patient with us getting back to phone calls and emails as we have be swamped with everyone wanting to book in we are doing our best to get back to you all in a timely manner we hope you all understand. We will also need to take temperatures and some personal details as you enter this will be needed for everyone not just one person in your group. Our table sizes are only 10 per table so if you have any bigger unfortunately you will be spread over the required amount of tables. 20.01.2022 The team at Wings and Fins would like to thanks those still supporting small family run businesses like ourself in this wild COVID-19 outbreak, for those of you who are still wanting to dine with us but are a bit worried about being out in the public eating we are offering take away meals so you can still enjoy our delicious menu in the comfort of your own home. 15.01.2022 We are terribly sorry but with the recent spike in COVID-19 we are still keeping our doors shut as the limit we are allowed in has dropped back to 20 again . We were really looking forward to opening and seeing all our friendly faces in the restaurant again but like we’ve said it’s really not viable for us to do this with the minimal amount of customers we are allowed to let in. Fingers crossed as of July the spike would have settled down and we will be allowed to raise the ...numbers again. I’d like to thank each and everyone of you who have sent such lovely emails and messages to us thinking of us in this horrible ordeal, and for those of you who have already tried to book for your special occasions or for the simple fact you just miss being in Wings and Fins THANKYOU I’m glad we are so loved by many. 15.01.2022 It’s with a heavy heart the team at Wings and Fins want to send our condolences and love to one of our absolute favourite customers families Ted, you were an absolute pleasure to have in the restaurant you always sat at table #4 had a cappuccino in a mug, moscato a dozen naked oysters, fish and soft veggies a bowl of ice cream with strawberry topping and finished with another mug of cappuccino. You’d walk in the door with a massive grin waving your walking stick in the air ...telling us you were there or giving us a heart attack thinking you were going to fall over there was always a story for us to listen to the love you had for your wife, your dog and your family was beautiful to hear. You’d leave waving that stick in the air at us again after giving all a hug and kiss goodbye when you got home you’d ring and hang up after the 3rd ring to let us know you’d got home safely. It’s safe to say Sunday was my favourite day of the week at work seeing your beaming face, will miss the random calls from you not knowing you’d call my mobile at 11pm at night not knowing who you’d called, will miss the outings for lunch and coffee dates and stories that always had about the 2 ladies in your home putting you in the shower and if only you were 18 again how good it would be, will miss sneaking you in a dozen oysters to the home and you laughing at how it was going to stink there fridge out will miss you coming in to visit or us coming to your home but most of all we will miss your smiling face walking through our door. 08.01.2022 Wings an Fins will be re-opening around the end of June. Unfortunately will the restrictions only lifting minimal for us to open at this time really wouldn't be viable, once they lift a bit more and we are allowed more than 20 customers in at a time the doors will be opened. We will however have to follow all the correct procedures the government puts in place which could mean everyone would have to have temperatures taken upon arrival and some personal details collected fro...m you. We do hope that anyone who isn't feeling well or has a temperature do the right thing and holds off from coming just a little bit longer. ;) We are however very excited for you all to see the little make-over the restaurant has had during the covid period :) We are looking forward to seeing all our lovely customers again very soon, hold tight guys not long to go!

06.01.2022 WOW...I never thought opening the doors again would be so busy, Thankyou so much to all those who have supported us being open again, I’m terribly sorry for those we can’t fit in when you call I wish we could get you all in but we just can’t thanks to those who decided to purchase crayfish, prawns and oysters to take home and enjoy when you couldn’t dine in with us we appreciate you all.
