14.01.2022 Things to do instead of school: Listen to an audio book (20 mins) Practice skip counting (x2,x5, x10,x3,x6) while you jump rope or bounce a ball (20 mins) Write a letter or card to a friend or grandparent and post it (30 mins)... Draw a treasure map of your house and create a hunt for your family to follow (60 - 90 mins) Make puppets from found objects and create a performance you can record and share with friends online (60 - 90 mins) Bake something from scratch and be sure to follow the recipe and measure carefully (60 - 90 mins) Watch a wildlife documentary and keep a record of how many different animals are featured Visit NASAs Kids club and learn about Space and the International Space Station https://www.nasa.gov/kidsclub/index.html

04.01.2022 I dont think its a stretch to suggest that Wings families are crushing this home learning situation. Weve been supplementing learning programs, plugging gaps and providing scaffolded tasks for our students....but our amazing parents havent needed much help at all. Whoever you are, however many children you are currently juggling at home...youre doing a great job.... Gold stars all around.
