25.01.2022 NATIONAL BEAUTICIAN DAY For the sheer love of all things hair, style and wisdom, June 26th is National Beautician’s Day. Also known as stylists and cosmetologists, these men and women make people look there best every day. Cosmetology is the study and application of a beauty treatment. The branches of cosmetology include hairstyling, skin care, cosmetics, manicures, pedicures, and electrology. This means they buff, polish, trim, pluck, perk, brighten, lighten, plump, and m...ostly make our finest features shine. For myself as a Beauty Therapist the best part of my job is that I get to provide a service in a friendly warm environment where they can relax and unwind as I believe so greatly that self care does wonders for our mental health. Self care is not selfish and I encourage everything big or small as long as it makes you feel good. I am very lucky to have the amazing and supportive clients I do! So to all my fellow Beauty and Hair workers if no one has told you I will.... I AM PROUD OF YOU! It’s not easy, like any job it has it’s ups and downs but for the most part I know you are smashing it! You know why, because I know in this industry our jobs are driven by passion and love, with that comes hard work and persistence because we love what we do and we work hard for it. Don’t forget how far you have come and don’t loose track of your goals

25.01.2022 First week back... what a week. It has been so great to be back. Body is definitely not used to it so we are abit sore today but that’s to be expected! It’s crazy to think we jumped back into work then it was the lead up to Christmas so double to demand for appointments. To all the new faces I’ve seen come in WELCOME! So happy to have you come in for the first time and meet you all. To all the regular faces I haven’t seen yet in this first week I hope your well & can’t wait t...o see you soon. 24.01.2022 Fluffy Volume Lashes Every say of lashes is customised you suit you natural lashes and eyes, No set is the same. It’s important to take into consideration what your natural lashes can handle. Some can handle 2D some can handle 3D and some can handle 4D ect. With every set each lash is calculated and then a hand made fan is made to suit each lash. So while you taking a relaxing lash nap I’m working away at creating a beautiful set of lashes and I wouldn’t have it any other way

23.01.2022 I really do enjoy doing natural lashes. Dense lash line and giving you a slight curl to emphasise your eyes can really makes all the difference you need for an every day look

21.01.2022 I just wanted to let everyone know I am fully booked for large appointments for the rest of the year. I have a hand full of smaller 15 minute apps available for waxing left but I don’t have anymore Lash Extension or Lash Lift appointments left. I do have a cancellation list so if you wish to be put on that then please message 0447511622. I still do recommend messaging me to see if their has been any cancellations as random ones do pop up as people book their apps so far in a...dvance that commitments do pop up and the appointment will become free. I may also be opening 1 Sunday in December so I will also keep you updated so I can fit more people in as well as opening more apps on the 24th of December for SPRAY TANS & WAXING ONLY. Will keep you all updated with these days and times I am back to work on the 11th of January but I don’t have an appointment till the end of that week so if you wish to book in 2021 I would start thinking of booking as they are going fast I am so greatful for everyone that has come in a supported me post covid and booked in I really appreciate it and it’s been great getting back to work, Look forward to smashing out the rest of the year and going into 2021 Hayley x

12.01.2022 COVID UPDATE As everyone would know our opening date has been pushed back again to middle of September. For all appointments made before then I will be in contact but again we will just be sitting ducks untill September. I hope everyone is well and families are healthy and staying safe. 2020 is definitely not anyone’s year just stay positive and I will see you all in September.. hopefully Hayley

07.01.2022 LASH CLEANSER I think it’s a topic that is most miss-understood or not educated enough on. There is a few reasons why it is essential to wash our lashes to maintain healthy lash hygiene and keep the natural balance of your eye’s function. Our natural lashes have the sole purpose of keeping dust and debris from falling into your eyes and having lash extensions does not stop that function however, you should be making sure you are washing all your dead skin, dust, oil and m...akeup out of your lashes as if you would if you did not have lash extensions. Most people are under the impression that if you wet your lashes they will fallout this is not the case. You can get your lashes wet and we in courage you too as we have stated, to maintenance the lash hygiene that we would usually when we wash our face. But there are a few tips on how to care for wet lashes once you do get them wet that will help maintain the lashes shape and density. Keep in mind if you go swimming in salt water, swim in chlorine or cry we encourage you to cleanse your lashes after, as these ingredients in these water’s can effect your lashes Lash glue is broken down by oil and we produce oil from our skin. If we do not cleanse our eyelids, lashes and skin around our eyes this will result in the breaking down of the bonds of the glue or slipping of lash extensions from your natural lashes. Keep in mind a lot of makeup contains oils so if you add our natural oils + makeup that is double the build up that needs to be removed. Let me introduce you to Demodex. Everyone has a healthy amount of Demodex, these are essential in keeping our natural balance of hygiene in our lash line. Now don’t turn to your friend and try to look to see if you can see one crawling around these little critters you can not see them with the naked eye. They’re naturally present in your hair follicles, where they feed on dead skin cells. Everything on our body is put there for a reason and we do not want to disturb the balance of natural for beauty. If we do not wash and cleanse our lashes and get ride of the oil and dead skin that can lead to an infestation of lash mites. *continue in comments*

02.01.2022 Beauty is back in full swing which I’m sooo happy about I feel myself again and we are starting to slowly start socialising again! Going out to dinner and small group gathers are the new thing now and to be honest I’m loving some home cooked meals latterly not the best cook so got to start somewhere but if I Wass to go out I think Japanese and Mexican would be my fav places to eat!
