24.01.2022 POWER INTERRUPTION | Judan Rd, Mt Olive Ausgrid will be performing maintenance in Mount Olive tomorrow. There will be a power interruption in the Judan Rd area ...tomorrow (7/10/2020) between the hours of 8.30am 2.30pm. This interruption will affect the power supply to the water pumping station. ERM Power have also notified Council that there will be a planned interruption to Judan Rd in Mount Olive on Thursday 8/10/2020 from 8am for up to eight hours. This interruption will also affect the power supply to the water pumping station.
23.01.2022 PETITION LAUNCHED: The Manning River Action Group and Myall Lakes MP Stephen Bromhead have launched a petition, to fund permanent entrances to the Manning River between Harrington and Manning Point and the Farquhar Inlet. MidCoast Council says coastal management has long been an important issue and it's committed to working with all levels government, experts and stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for the area. It'll be debated at State Parliament if 10,000 signatures are obtained.

08.01.2022 SEARCH CONTINUES FOR MISSING MAN: A search has resumed for a 20-year-old man believed to have been swept off the southern breakwall at Coffs Harbour - which police say was closed at the time. At around 6pm yesterday a 24-year-old woman told police a man who was walking behind her had disappeared after a large wave hit. Not long after officers were approached by a concerned family after their son failed to return from a walk.... His vehicle has been found at the Gallows Beach car park.
