17.01.2022 Police are investigating after three people lost their lives in a crash at South Bingera near Bundaberg this morning. Preliminary information suggests just before 9am a Holden Commodore sedan was travelling west on Childers Road when it collided head on with a Honda Jazz heading eastbound. The Honda then rolled and struck a tree on the side of the road before being hit by a Hyundai sedan travelling eastbound behind it.... The driver and sole occupant of the Commodore, a 60-year-old Givelda man, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The occupants of the Honda, a 62-year-old South Bingera woman who was driving and her rear passenger, a 63-year-old Kallangur woman, also passed away as a result of the crash. The front passenger of the Honda, a 65-year-old Kallangur man, was transported to Bundaberg Base Hospital with serious injuries. A 65-year-old Pine Creek woman who was driving the Hyndai was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating. #WINNews6pm
15.01.2022 BREAKING NEWS: Another tragedy on South Burnett Roads. Forensic Crash Unit are investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred today.... At 12:45pm police were called to a crash scene off the Burnett Highway, approximately 5km north of Nanango. A 21-year-old Kingaroy man and sole occupant had lost control of his car which rolled. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police are appealing for any witnesses or motorist with dash cam vision, who were in the area at the time to please contact police.
13.01.2022 TRUCK FIRE: Emergency crews have been called to a truck fire at Lindsay Transport Bundaberg terminal. Firefighters extinguished the blaze before it spread. Noone has been injured.

Pfizer is now the preferred vaccine for those under 60. Those who are under 60 and have already received their AstraZeneca vaccine are strongly recommended to get their second dose.... #WINNews
