25.01.2022 30 beautiful, hot meals went out tonight. As well as plenty of baked goods. Many thanks to Michelle Sherriff Sarah Porter Amanda Conway Sharon Wolff The countdown is on til our last collection. Friday, 4th December is our final collection for the year. So, toss a couple of extras in your trolley this week. Let’s do what we can to make Christmas special for those less fortunate this year.

17.01.2022 Friday, 4th December is our final collection date for the year. Let’s dig deep to ensure others are also able to enjoy their Christmas. I’m still looking for 2 more people to cook if anyone is able to help out (all filled now). Baked good are also welcomely received. If anyone is wanting to donate groceries, I have a list below of what the shelter are still needing. Lollies... Gifts for children Toiletries Christmas pudding Christmas crackers Sparkling apple juice Empty gift boxes Long life milk (soy and full cream) Up and go’s Spreads: vegemite, jam etc Tea Coffee Sugar Bottled water, very popular Sweet biscuits Jasmine rice for a couple of Chinese families Men’s and women’s underwear (socks, jocks, undies, singlets, on the smaller side) Tshirts Breakfast cereals Tinned foods Sanitary products Personal care products Any long life shelf stable items A few people have donated chocolate Christmas stockings, that I’m sure the kids will be chuffed with. 17.01.2022 I have our final dates for hot meals and donations for the year. If you can help out, it would be greatly appreciated. Fri, 20th November: 6 lots of 8 hot meals Sunday, 29th November: (for the people at the Circus in Baywswater) 2 lots of 8 hot meals and 1 lot of 9 hot meals and 3 hot vegetarian meals Friday, 4th December: 6 lots of 8 hot meals... I’m also after baked good for all nights please. Grocery donations are still being gratefully accepted. A reminder of needed groceries. Long life milk (full cream and some soy) this goes very quickly Cereal, as above Up and go’s Spreads: vegemite, jam etc Tea Coffee Sugar Bottled water, very popular Sweet biscuits Jasmine rice for a couple of Chinese families Men’s and women’s underwear (socks, jocks, undies, singlets) Tshirts There was a suggestion of donations of chocolate Santa stockings. I think it’s a wonderful idea. I’ve very mindful of the fact that Christmas is not a happy time for everyone. 09.01.2022 What a night! 48 hot meals, 5 boxes of brand new clothes thanks to Mick Conway, loads of groceries, Christmas stockings and a stack of $25 gift vouchers for the start of our Christmas collection. The generosity of our ever increasing crew of volunteers knows no limits. Thank you all for digging deep to ensure others have a wonderful Christmas too. 05.01.2022 My heart is full Our final collection for the year has me completely overwhelmed. Along with our 48 beautiful hot meals, we have more groceries than you can poke a stick at. Some really thoughtful donations. Bon bons, candy canes, Christmas napkins, mince pies, chocolate stockings, soft drinks and boxes of chocolates. Some special treats for Christmas. As well as the essentials, toiletries, heaps of food, bottled water and so much food, it’ll stock the shelters pantry ove...r the Christmas period. We’ve also had a generous donation of $200 in gift vouchers to buy toys for the children. Sharon Reyes Wolff. You are an amazing woman. Mick Conway a man who comes with a boot load of donations every 2 weeks. Love you Mick Couldn’t do this without you. So many donations from so many amazing volunteers. Your support over the last 6 months has been unwavering.
