25.01.2022 Hi friends, our good friends at Stable One have set up an online petition to make a common sense approach for ALL churches looking to provide winter shelter, please sign it so we can all move forward with certainty for the future

23.01.2022 Its been a big month as we have put together many things in place to run our pilot Winter Sleepover for this coming month. We have had many volunteers trained, our rosters filled, our cooks ready and our great referral agencies ready. So looking forward to actually kicking off this coming Monday night.

22.01.2022 very sad to hear this morning, we can do better than this as a society

20.01.2022 We are incredibly thankful for being able to run our pilot Winter Sleepover this month for 8 nights and provide beds, hospitality and a place to belong for people who would normally be on the streets this winter. A massive thank you to our great team of volunteers who made this possible. We are working with our local councils and other winter shelters towards a common sense permit approach for next year that will enable churches to provide this accommodation in a safe environment for all so that we can continue to provide a compassionate response to many vulnerable people in the middle of winter.

15.01.2022 Very appropriate to launch our Winter Sleepover during national Homelessness Week

13.01.2022 Our volunteer training sessions are coming up this week, if you have not registered to volunteer, please do so online asap. We are especially in need to people interested in doing our overnight shifts (10pm-7am a great opportunity to watch the Ashes in England) https://www.wintersleepover.com.au/
