12.01.2022 Good morning everyone. We hope you all had a great weekend. This is a friendly reminder to everyone that; 1. Lids must be removed from your containers. (We've had several instances of large volumes being submitted in wool packs, with lids screwed on which we've had to reject)... 2. Containers need to be separated. Woolpacks of mixed material will be rejected. 3. Contaminated material will also be rejected. Please ensure general rubbish, disposable nappies and other contaminated items are not included with your containers. We are not a rubbish facility. We thank you so much for your cooperation and look forward to seeing you Saturday from 8am till 11am.

11.01.2022 Hi there Container Exchangers!! In recent weeks, we’ve seen a big increase in numbers of plastics (water & iced coffee etc) coming in with lids on. Please ensure that ALL LIDS ARE REMOVED before bringing your containers to us. ... It’s ok to put your lids in your bag, as they are made of HDPE and can be recycled, but to be accepted, they must be loose in the bag. If you have any questions, please feel free to make contact on 0417 511 821 or send us a message. Thanks so much for your cooperation.

09.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS WINTON CONTAINER EXCHANGERS!! We recently celebrated the processing of our 500,000th container in July. Considering that we officially opened on the 2nd November 2019, we think this is a FANTASTIC environmental achievement by Winton in reducing landfill. Plus, it also means that $50,000 has been returned into the Winton Community!... Congratulations also to Ray Hermann for supplying the lucky 500,000th container. Ray received some Containers for Change Merchandise, including baseball caps, a Cooler Bag, Thermos/Flask and a cheque for $50.00. Pictured, is Ray receiving his prizes and cheque from John, with Jai lending a hand. Well done Ray on your regular participation in the scheme and on your prizes. We're already over 550,000 and really looking forward to reaching 1 MILLION!
