17.01.2022 As the end of October approaches, we begin to prepare for the end of the tourism season in Winton. We have one more Special Screening at the Royal Theatre (more info to follow on this one!) before we close up shop and begin preparing for the new year. At this stage, we are sad to report that due to our inability to have our volunteers in two places at once - Winton Movies Inc won't be screening a free Christmas Movie for the town this year. We hope to provide this magical e...vent for Christmas 2020 though! There will be no rest for the cast of Winton Movies Inc this summer with one of our volunteers dispatched to the Australian International Movie Convention (AIMC) on the Gold Coast - where he kept a low profile by the photo evidence provided below - to have a sneak peek at the line up of new releases in 2020. Suffice to say we will have a blockbusting program of new release films starting next April. Apart from programming movies, we have candy bars to stock, equipment to upgrade, volunteers to muster, events to plan and the list goes on. Watch this space!

10.01.2022 Due to the logistics of securing movies in central Queensland we are disappointed to announce that at the last minute we were unable to secure the booking of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood for Friday 1 Nov. WE ARE EXCITED to announce that instead we have been able to secure the current highest grossing film in the world 'Joker' This screening will be at 8pm Friday, 1 Nov, during the Outback Queensland Tourism Awards!
