22.01.2022 We welcome our men who may need some support especially with these challenging and uncertain times.. We also recognise that there are men who will spend Christm...as on their own. We want to create a space where they could find comfort, build positive connections with others to make sure Christmas isn’t a lonely time. This 5 weeks program will aim to help us gain better skills to self care, self aware, self regulate and be able to make positive changes in ourselves but also in our families as well. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday night. Dinner provided. Come hungry.

22.01.2022 TW - Suicide If your children have tiktok please take their phone off them, or delete the app. A man has live streamed his suicide on tiktok/Facebo...ok. shooting himself in the head with a shotgun, very graphic, very traumatic. Please monitor your kids online screentime very closely! People are reposting the video everywhere and hiding it in other videos that start off looking innocent with animals etc then it switches. Please be careful! See more

The artwork divided like a giant jigsaw involved all the early childhood education and care centres which inspired the concept, we are all just a small part of the big picture. 19.01.2022 NAIDOC WEEK 8 - 15 NOV | In celebration of NAIDOC Week, this year the theme is ‘Always Was, Always Will Be’, recognising that First Nations people have occupied... and cared for this continent we call home for over 65,000 years. NAIDOC celebrations are held across Australia each year to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life The week is a great opportunity to participate in a range of activities and to support your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. At Red Frogs we pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional owners of the land on which we learn, work, write and share our stories together. #NAIDOC2020 #NAIDOCWeek

16.01.2022 I get it. I finally get it. You see moms committing suicide. And I couldn’t understand it. How do you leave your kids behind like that? Postpartum depression is... what they call it. You don’t feel like the world would be better off without you, you feel like you’d be better off without this world. And then everybody posts, oh, I never knew. She didn’t say anything. She seemed okay. ....... She told you. And it seemed small to you, you didn’t get it. Behind on life, can’t get anything done. Everything is expected of her and she’s drowning. She lost herself taking care of others. She’s told you, I can’t today. I have too much to do Don’t offer to help with her kids because then the guilt sets in. She won’t let you take them because she feels like she’s already not spending enough time with them. I see it. I see you. I understand you. Y’all wanna check on somebody? Stop by and visit, let her take a shower, help her in some way so she feels like she’s not so behind. Like she’s not alone. Like she’s HUMAN. There’s your signs. Stop saying you didn’t know. Because she told you. Photo credit: Taylor LaKae Rawlings See more

09.01.2022 In the words of Jerome Ford, A mixed signal is a clear message.

06.01.2022 We observe World Suicide Prevention Day each year on September 10. Its a growing problem and the numbers tell a shocking story. Every 40 seconds someone takes ...their own life according to the World Health Organization (WHO). Thats about 800,000 people worldwide every year although some estimates put that number closer to 1 million. Suicide is the leading cause of death for people ages 15 to 29 and for every suicide that results in death, there are as many as 40 attempted suicides. What we know for sure is that theres a lot to live for. Come to one of walks and meet strangers have a sausages drink walk your worries away #mentalhealth #WorldSuicidePrevention #RUOK #trentchippindall #suicidalawareness #itaintweaktospeak #reachoutforhelp #walkntalkforlife #mentalhealthaustralia #dubbonsw

01.01.2022 It has taken me a very long time, but these days, I am quite comfortable, sitting in silence with my own thoughts; I enjoy being present with my own silence!! w...inha-nga-rra - hear, think & listen!! winhanga-dili-nya - feel & know ones self!! This year has been different for many people; but for me, individually this has been a year I have had the most spiritual & emotional growth I’ve ever experienced!! How & why? Because I have been willing & continue to do the work, go deep within & not look at WHAT (is happening) but WHY (it’s happening) Only in those urky and & often uncomfortable times, do we find growth. Remember, In every traumatic issue you address - will you promote yourself to new level of growth. For this - I am thankful #TheEnemyWithin #Wellness #Wellbeing #SuicidePrevention #MentalHealth #MentalIllness #Trauma #TraumaRecovery #Identity #Connection #TRIC #DefyingTheEnemyWithin #WaluWinGundyarri #HealthySpirit #IndigenousX #DecodingTheInherited #BiPolarDisorder #Love #Care #Respect #Humility #Compassion #Connection #Wellbeing #Connection #Ngunggilanha #winha-nga-rra #winhanga-dili-nya #JoeWilliams
