We’d like to share her experience with NAIDOC Week NAIDOC week is a great time to bring together everyone to celebrate and showcase the Indigenous culture which is rich here in the NT. It is a chance to reflect on the history of our country, celebrate the achievements of our first nations peoples. Sharing the struggles and embracing the future together as one. Last night I was lucky enough to be involved in a traditional smoking ceremony performed by representatives of the Larrakia mob. The smoking ceremony is a gift from the traditional custodians of the land to those occupying.
