21.01.2022 We’re sipping pretty and taken the gold again, being awarded best tasting tap water in the IXOM 2020 BEST TASTING TAP WATER IN NSW and ACT! It was announced ...at last week’s Water Industry Operators Association Virtual Water Conference, and is the second time we have been awarded the honour, having received it in 2018 too. A huge congratulations to our water team! Our tap water is sourced from the Hastings River at Koree Island (see image) and undergoes a rigourous treatment process to ensure water quality before being sent to homes. 16.01.2022 The results are in!! Congratulations to TasWater for winning the IXOM Best Tasting Tap Water in Australia Competition. The sample provided by the Rossarden WTP will now go on to represent Australia at the Berkeley Springs International Water Taste Test in USA in February 2021.

16.01.2022 Good luck to Mackay Regional Council who will be representing Australia at the 30th Annual Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting Competition over the weekend. The Team from Mackay RC are the current Ixom Australian Best Tasting Tap Water Competition winners, and will be taking their sample over to Berkeley Springs to compete against some of the worlds best water!
