18.01.2022 Introducing Stepping On Stepping On is an exciting, friendly and community program run in Wongan Hills by the Joanne Di Loreto in conjunction with Injury matters. The program will provide you with information on how to reduce your risk of falling and maximize your independence at home. ... Local health professionals and invited guests will be assisting in presenting this program. The program coordinators are health professionals with backgrounds in aged care, falls prevention and rehabilitation. Who Can Join? Anyone who is: 65 years and older Over 50’s welcome to apply Living at home Able to walk independently or with a walking stick Fearful of falling or has fallen recently Lives in Wongan Hills or surrounding Local Health Districts Please Note. Not suitable for people with dementia or neuromuscular conditions 12 attendees over 65 years old will be fully funded to attend this 7 week program with full commitment required for the full program or you can choose which subject to attend What will be covered? Reducing home hazards Moving safely in the community Safe footwear Vision and nutrition Medication management Exercises to improve your strength and balance There is a criteria to meet and everyone must apply to be considered for this program to ensure it meets the requirements of the program and your needs. 15.01.2022 Over 50’s circuit exercise class On Friday at 9.30am $6 At ambo hall on Ackland street wongan hills ... We have the rope , sandbags , kettlebells and more 40 second rounds per exercise with a 20 second rest Fantastic older music including ABBA , Neil Diamond and Tom Jones It’s a lot of fun come try it Jo

Wednesday class 4th December is on But then changing to Tuesday for two weeks Tuesday 10 and 17 December I will be stopping classes from the 20th and they will resume in the new year Please let others know if they are not on Facebook
