"I’ve never been prouder than I was last night watching the TV news and seeing long time WISDOM client, Lucchini Engineering, answer the Premier’s call to arms for local manufacturers. Like many I nearly fell off my chair when I heard the government offering to use, and directly support, our local manufacturing industry. Something I haven’t heard from a politician for quite sometime. It was no surprise to me to see Rick and Dan Lucc...hini step up. The brothers followed in the footsteps of their father who started the business a generation ago. Poignantly an immigrant from Italy. They took the business to another level from engineering services for BlueScope to making high quality medical parts and even performance racing car parts they exported back to Europe. I can tell you these guys are smart and efficient. They run their place like a precision clock. They adhere to every imposed quality standard and to their own even higher ones. They are absolute perfectionists. They have plenty to offer our country. But like many of our manufacturers the road hasn’t been easy. I’ve been in their office over the decades and have seen them bang their heads against the wall at the seemingly impossible battle to hold off the flood of inferior, yet cheaper, foreign competitors. Yet now when the country needs them the brothers are stepping up. I can also tell you they aren’t doing it for the dollars. They are finically comfortable. They’ve worked hard and planned wisely. They are doing it because it’s the right thing to do. We are lucky to have their expertise along with the many other proud Australian manufacturers. 23.01.2022 We're BACK.... WISDOM ISO-VIVED!!!! A third of our team are back in the office now, safe, sound and social distanced. Physical distancing and good hygiene measures will be in place (including hand sanitizer available), in accordance with Government guidelines.
