19.01.2022 For his final assignment as an apprentice, Wise Boatbuilding’s newest tradesman, Shane, created a half-model of the Judith Anne. Named after Mark and Shane’s mother, the boat can be seen here moored in front of the family’s treasured boat shed in Brisbane’s Breakfast Creek. It was in this shed that the Judith Anne was built by Hector, Desmond and Robert Tripcony - Mark and Shane’s Uncle, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. The half model was based on Hector’s original plan for the vessel however the timber for the stem arrived approximately a foot short and was built with a slightly lower bow. The team ha...s been kept busy with a three year refit project on a luxury yacht and they're looking forward to working with more superyachts here at Service Paradise as they continue to grow and expand their business. GCCM introduced the Marine Start Up Pods in 2018 as an accessible entry point for the rising stars of the Aussie marine industry. It's great to watch businesses like these thrive and prosper.
