22.01.2022 What are all these goodies doing on my desk?? Yup, I’ve been planning and buying again for something new! And you know what that means, teaser photos and keeping secrets!! This project is going to combine a number of talents both old and new into one (hopefully) fantastic product that will be completely customisable from the ground up every single time! Have a great Wednesday everyone!

14.01.2022 So I thought long and hard after last week’s marathon effort of MtM and it occurred to me that there is one post I didn’t do that some may enjoy reading. An average day in the life of WOOH.... here it goes. 6am - Alarm goes off. Whether I get up or not depends entirely on what time Master S fell asleep the night before. If I don’t get up as such, then I get up, wake up Miss I and go back to bed until 7am. However if I do get up... COFFEE. I would probably cease to exist witho...ut coffee. Or at least be curled up in a ball 90% of the time muttering to myself. 6.30 - Shower, dress, hope Master S doesn’t wake up. If he does or has, then I have company in the bathroom. Closed doors where he knows I’m on the other side are like I’ve run off to another dimension and left him with the biggest, scariest monsters. 7am - Miss I pretty much gets herself ready for school (well trained!). So we have a chat before she goes to the bus stop at 7.20. Usually around getting Master S dressed and breakfasted. On Tuesdays, this is done earlier so that we all leave together and I take Master S to preschool before returning home. 8am - Either I’m dropping Master S at preschool or the great housework debacle has begun. Sometimes it’s just small things, other times I swear the toy tubs have spewed their contents all over the lounge room because they think it’s funny. 9am - This is the earliest I can start the full-time job, the joys of shift work. I prefer a slightly later start so I have time to get home & settle before I start. And while I’m doing this, my brain is working double time... I wonder if that would work if I tried this. and yes! They would definitely work but what do I need to buy to make it work? Not much actually gets done during this time, not for WOOH anyway, just lots of thinking lol. Anywhere from 12pm-4pm lunch. Multitasking comes in vital here. Eating, clothes in the washing machine, a little cross stitch or other thing I’m working on and then back to it. 5.30 onwards - We’ll this really depends. Earlier shift, the ratbags return from my sister’s where they’ve gone after school, dinner, baths, bed for them. On a later shift, dinner has been eaten at my sisters. Sometimes Master S is showered and in his pjs, sometimes Miss I has come home directly from school and has been ready for bed for 4 hours lol. Anywhere from 8.30pm - If I’m having a crafty night I’ll work on whatever is going at the time (see the current project pictures since there are no outstanding orders heh) or I’ll lounge with a movie, or just vegetate with my phone on the lounge. And always with coffee regardless of what I’m doing. 10.30-11.30 - I reluctantly drag myself to bed and get ready to do it again. Weekends are slightly different in that I spend more time crafting and planning future projects. And drink way more coffee. And do gardening when possible. Pretty normal day, right?

06.01.2022 Some of you probably don’t know I’ve had a bit of a hard time the past couple months (not the point of today’s post!) and had difficulty getting my beautiful boy a present back in February for his 2nd birthday for a couple reasons that aren’t important to this post. As things were starting to settle at home and financially, a combination dip appeared on one of the many Australian dip pages here on Facebook. All you really need to know from here on is that the podling is OBSES...SED with Batman and right in front of my I had the opportunity to possibly provide him with a birthday present that would last and that he would love! In all honesty I was checking that dip post at least hourly (when I wasn’t asleep!) anxiously waiting for all the dips to be sold and the lucky person to be announced. The idea that I could be that lucky person and do the one thing that was eating away at me, giving my boy a birthday present, was exciting and distracting (I’m sure my manager thought I was off with the fairies, heh). Someone or something must’ve agreed that he deserved to get a present from his Mum, even a late one. And I’m not afraid to say that yup, I teared up when I realised it was my name I was staring at. I still have a huge grin on my face when I think about that moment, I was actually going to be able to give the podling a birthday present despite the hell that had been going on around us in the few months leading up to that moment. I didn’t say a word to him about it. How do you explain shipping to a 2 yr old? Lol. The moment it arrived, I set it up in the lounge room where he couldn’t miss it when he came home. I was working in the office when he first saw it, but I heard the excitement through my office door and saw it when I finished work. It has been difficult to convince him to put Batman down at meal times and getting him out of the Batcave is an adventure to say the least bit I wouldn’t change it for the world. And so, I would like to thank Margaret at Belle Petites and Kerry Kittyandzac for without knowing it or trying (all is fair in dips and war hehe) for giving me the chance to give my boy the most perfect belated 2nd birthday present, better than I could ever have dreamed. The quality of both Batman and his Batcave and floor pillow are exquisite to say the least and even in the hands of a rambunctious boy, they are certainly worth their weight in Batcoins. ;) Thank you, thank you, thank you for making such beautiful pieces and in turn making my crazy little 2 yr old happy. I know he probably doesn’t understand the concept of birthday presents quite yet or even the guilt I felt for not being able to get something for his birthday, but his smile when he’s hiding in the Batcave or fixing Batman’s mask are worth more to me than anything else in the world and ladies, you made it possible.
