21.01.2022 Hello and happy 2021 to everyone. Just wanted to start 2021 with a post on the face behind Wise Wombats Family Daycare Everyone who knows me knows i like to keep myself busy, i am a bit of a social butterfly. I enjoy travelling, I have been to over 20 countries so far and have much more to see (once allowed to travel again), training, boxing, spending quality time with family and friends and learning to play guitar. ... A little about how it all started.. When i was 16 (year 10) I was undertaking work experience at Knight Street multi age learning, there I was offered a traineeship, I then completed my certificate three in Early Childhood Education and Care, and worked at KSMAL for five years. I was then offered a job at Kiddie Kare/Community Kids i was there for short of five years and completed my Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. Then 2017 I was lucke enough to move abroad with a family in care at the time to nanny for thier two beautiful children in Malaysia and what an experience this was. When i came home, i was in need for a change and someone had reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in starting my own fdc and without too much thought i agreed, this was definitely an easy decision to make as my Mum also does fdc and i loved seeing her success and enjoyment of her business (Noelene's Nest fdc) This March will mark three years of running wwfdc and i couldn't be any happier. Over the years i had a privilege of meeting so many amazing educators, children and families, who helped shape who and where I am today, for that I am grateful.
