Felicity believes this will empower students to continue to grow after the seminar is over.

We believe that there would be interest amongst your student base & it would greatly benefit them in taking part of this technological & social challenge. What is Accenture's Hackathon: Hack for Good? Over the weekend (16th-17th January, 2021), the challenge is to use technology to solve problems and transform ...our not-for-profits partners, and then present your solution to the panel of judges on the 18th of January. The following non-for-profits will be providing problem areas for students to deep dive into: Save the Children Prince's Trust Australia Pollinate Group Autism Awareness A Computer Science degree is not required, but applicants must be working towards a bachelor degree (in any subject) or have graduated in the last two years. Anyone with basic programming abilities, design skills and a willingness to learn is welcome. Applicants must be an Australian / New Zealand Citizen or an Australian Permanent resident in order to apply. 01.01.2022 We are incredibly proud and grateful to announce that the Women in STEM Club won Best Collaboration of Year alongside our club collaborators Swinburne Education and Teaching Society - SETS, Swinburne University Psychology Association - SUPA, Swinburne Design Collective and Swinburne Engineering Student's Society It’s been a challenging year for all of us and this year particularly, mental health care is crucial. Our event ‘Be Kind to Your Mind’ was sponsored by headspace and ...facilitated by Lily Bourke who taught us techniques for managing stress, the importance of mental health and the relevant resources out there. Incredible work Women in STEM committee! This is the result of your hard work, passion and the contribution of each and every one of you. Big congratulations to our President Sanduni Jinadasa who was awarded leader of the year! Her dedication to the club has made it what it is today. We also want to extend our congratulations to all the winners, finalists and nominees. Student clubs are an integral part of diversifying and supporting the Swinburne community and we’re honoured to be a part of Student Life Clubs.
