21.01.2022 I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t love a sunflower. Their big, happy heads, never fail to give visual warmth and immediately lift a vibe on sight. Sunflowers, their oil and seeds have many metaphysical and health benefits. Fertility magic, courage rituals, overcoming shyness, friendship blessings, resetting the energy of a ‘sick’ space, aiding with grief, working with your heart chakra, this vibrant guy embodies a wealth of properties in its short season. ... In folklore sunflowers represent good luck and are also associated with truth, loyalty, fertility and honesty. Generally they represent optimism, happiness, peace, hope, faith, and enthusiasm. Sunflowers are dated back to magic usage in the 17th century where along with a blend of other summer flowers and sunflower oil, it was used to aid with seeing Fae. (What a recipe!!) The sunflower originated in South and Central America, and remains of sunflowers dating back 4,600 years ago have been found in Mexico. In the 1500’s sunflowers were taken back to Europe by international explorers and they have since spread around the world. (Thank goodness!) It is said that by sleeping with a sunflower under you pillow, the truth of something troubling you will be revealed, (maybe put it in a paper bag) and that by including sunflower petals in your bath if you’re feeling low, will aid as a vibrational pick me up. The sunflower was chosen back in 1996 to represent a nuclear free, world of peace. Sunflowers also absorb toxic and harmful elements in the soil inclusive of radiation, one of the many wonders and gifts of a sunflower. It’s season is short but bold and it’s associated with the sun, solar deities, sacral chakra,fire element, Leo and Apollo. So many benefits, no wonder we all love them. 13.01.2022 Rest assured there is absolutely no ‘normal’ here. I really value my individuality now after apologising for it for most of my life. It’s probably one of the only things that has stayed with me. It’s grown with me, taught me so much, and been a loyal and interesting friend. 05.01.2022 Happy Aussie Monday. I’ve had an idea floating around for about a year now and the 1st edition is finally finished. I’d just like to add that it made me tear up because it’s beautiful and we’ve worked so freaking hard on it. It’s definitely in the top ten of my fav things I’ve ever birthed. Shes being shipped off today to someone that would make me faint if they ever spoke to me, or die, or throw up on myself. (Not even kidding) Feeling the fear and doing it anyways. ... That vulnerable yesteryear side of me would prefer to hide in a cupboard with it, and never put it out into the world to face critics and other beings. (Insert whatever sweary word you’d like) The happy, and whole woman I’ve grown to be, is completely in her element and knows it’ll reach who it’s supposed too and be loved and received in the way it’s meant to be. Acknowledging both, blessing and releasing the first, choosing the second. How good is that reminder of how much we’ve evolved. The second edition is partially completed and I know its focus is on ocean magic and all things Seawitchery. Our Saturday morning beach walk had the sea creatures putting on a show. Photo bombing birds, and then the dolphins showed up. I love those nudges and posterior kicks from spirit. Here they are again. This card is from the Enchanted Map Oracle by Colette Baron-Reid, and this is my interpretation. ~Ride the Wave~ No time to doubt, success is here and it’s time to get busy receiving it. All you’ve worked for, the seeds you’ve sown and nurtured, your effort, your growth, your belief in your path, your time, is now being mirrored back to you. You are so deserving of these rewards and blessings. Like a plant with its first bud, there is still expansion coming, but you are seen, and you’re unique and you are beautiful in your own right. Dolphins are the closest creature we have to the angelic realm. They are amazing healers and their cleansing abilities are epic. Is there a declutter you may need to do in your work space? Removal of stagnant thought patterns? A ‘friend’ or ‘relative’ who stunts your growth and only shows up when they want something, or to sabotage? Whatever your situation is, a cleansing of some kind is needed, (usually the first thing/person you think of) to clear the last bit of debris on the move forward. Ask your Angels/Ancestors/Guides/Goddess whoever you align with, for help finding it and removing it. Take a moment to congratulate and celebrate yourself for doing the things. GO YOU!! 03.01.2022 It’s Monday in Australia and already I can feel a big energy shift after the weekend. While I don’t feel like it’s time to remove the helmet and knee pads quite yet, there’s a definite calm arising from the chaos of late. How cute is this Emu? Planning a trip, moving house, changing careers, a lifestyle declutter, whatever it is that for you has felt restricted of late, has movement and you’ve got the wheel. Stepping out of fear based thinking, you have everything you need to move forward fearlessly and activate those dreams and plans. Creative thinking will pull us out of any outside restrictive rulings and open new avenues to keep moving forwards, regardless. When we take action it’s impossible to stagnate, we can always change our course as we go. You cannot make a wrong move, you will always be at the place where you are meant to be. Affiliated with the Moon and used for that exact connection in lunar magic and dream magic. Her element is water and she is all things feminine. Jasmine oil when worn is considered to attract love, lust, and happiness.
