22.01.2022 I love the smell of a chamomile brew. It’s such a sweetheart scent. It’s happy and gentle with a gazillion beneficial properties and is eons old. Topically it can be used for nappy rash, chicken pox, blocked tear ducts, conjunctivitis, skin inflammations and irritations. It’s one of the most ancient medicinal herbs known to humankind. We have a little rescue kitten, who’s come to us with a kitty cold and eye poo. (Does anyone else call it that?) After trying a few different t...hings, one of my fav peoples reminded me of chamomile. (Thank you O.T. It’s so great to have conversations with your friends filled with knowledge.) I’ve not used chamomile for this before so I’m looking forward to playing with it. We’ve currently got a tea on the stove and a tincture in its first stages, while I have a cuppa in the sun. #toughgig It’s a gorgeous day here already, and we’ve got a happy and productive one ahead. 16.01.2022 How wonderful it is to outgrow toxic or negative behaviour and rewrite your own independent story. This is probably my most favourite equinox of all. It’s a time for collecting wildflowers and is a celebration of life, birth, fertility and new beginnings. Colours associated are pastel greens, pink, blue, yellows, also white. Associated symbols are painted eggs, butterflies, rabbits, bees, honey, Fae and robins. Crystals ...linked to Ostara are rose quartz, moonstone, lapis lazuli, clear quartz, aquamarine and amazonite. Herbs and flowers to use are lavender, thyme, rosemary, rose hips, lemon balm, meadowsweet, honeysuckle, jasmine, mint, tulips and lilies. (These are not set in stone. Use what speaks to you. x) Ostara is a celebration of change, light, rejuvenation, balance, and growth. It represents abundance, prosperity, new love, passion, purification and creation. 13.01.2022 We had a ball at Blush Bali this morning. If you haven’t been, you need to go. A beautiful, relaxed space, with genuine, salt of the earth people, and a bloody good laugh to be had. We feel really lucky to have connected with them.

12.01.2022 Happy Aussie Monday. I’ve had an idea floating around for about a year now and the 1st edition is finally finished. I’d just like to add that it made me tear up because it’s beautiful and we’ve worked so freaking hard on it. It’s definitely in the top ten of my fav things I’ve ever birthed. Shes being shipped off today to someone that would make me faint if they ever spoke to me, or die, or throw up on myself. (Not even kidding) Feeling the fear and doing it anyways. ... That vulnerable yesteryear side of me would prefer to hide in a cupboard with it, and never put it out into the world to face critics and other beings. (Insert whatever sweary word you’d like) The happy, and whole woman I’ve grown to be, is completely in her element and knows it’ll reach who it’s supposed too and be loved and received in the way it’s meant to be. Acknowledging both, blessing and releasing the first, choosing the second. How good is that reminder of how much we’ve evolved. The second edition is partially completed and I know its focus is on ocean magic and all things Seawitchery. Our Saturday morning beach walk had the sea creatures putting on a show. Photo bombing birds, and then the dolphins showed up. I love those nudges and posterior kicks from spirit. Here they are again. This card is from the Enchanted Map Oracle by Colette Baron-Reid, and this is my interpretation. ~Ride the Wave~ No time to doubt, success is here and it’s time to get busy receiving it. All you’ve worked for, the seeds you’ve sown and nurtured, your effort, your growth, your belief in your path, your time, is now being mirrored back to you. 10.01.2022 Mint is such a handy, versatile and happy little herb. Easy to grow and maintain for even the blackest of thumbs. It’s been used in many traditions and countries and is also a golden oldie. Metaphysically its often used in cleansing spells as it increases vibrations and expels any negative energy. 07.01.2022 It’s difficult to be unhappy when looking at a flamingo. Especially a bunch of rainbow ones. Beautiful and kind of weird, very social and they live in both opposite sex and same sex relationships. I think I first fell in love with flamingos after watching the wise, inclusive, and incredibly sweet nature of Featherstone. As a Totem Animal they represent many things. Balance, having an open heart, family bonds, community groups, new experiences, intuition and opportunity. It’s ...a symbol of togetherness, cooperation, soul purpose, kindness, optimism, socialising, happiness, nurturing, sexuality, and expressing of emotions freely. Flamingo Totems ask us to free and clear ourselves from negativity of all kinds, healing and removing toxicity from past and present, and to focus on the happiness and joy around us. If Flamingos keep popping up in your life, this is a positive sign regarding your current relationship or heralds the beginning of a new romance, if that’s what you’re looking for. 05.01.2022 We’ve just finished a gorgeous and productive weekend. The weather and company was beautiful. We visited, connected, explored and partook in some very loud and off key, car karaoke. Yesterday was spent with my birth sister, cats, cuppa’s and conversation. We only get to see her once a year, so bad selfies, and inappropriate giggling is a must. I hope whatever you got up to, was happy and mind healthy. Mercury went into Scorpio on the 27th September and will be there until t...he 27th October. Mercury is the planet of communication so conversation will be honest, intense and possibly bring about long awaited change. Things that may have been hidden will present themselves, and thoughts can also be more intense. Scorpio loves to unearth new information, but is also bringing with it a brooding and mysterious vibe.
