25.01.2022 We all ‘hang in there’ in our own way. Some more easily than others and some more gracefully. It’s ok not to be ok and it’s ok to ask someone to help you. No one says we have to ‘hang on’ alone

23.01.2022 Fear is causing panic and panic is contagious, but so is kindness. Let’s see if we can spread kindness instead of chaos

23.01.2022 Nature is the best medicine. My happy place

19.01.2022 Seeing the humour can help us through difficult times. I hope this made at least one person smile The video may not be very serious, but your Mental Health is, I hope you’re looking after it

18.01.2022 Me the last two days

18.01.2022 Tough times for everyone at the moment. Take a moment to express your anger and sadness, then focus on the things that are going to make you feel better. There are many things we can’t control, but we can control how long we let it affect us. Reach out to someone if you’re having trouble coping. It’s ok to ask for help. We all need it sometimes

17.01.2022 I’m very excited to finally share this project I’ve been working on passionately with Mandie Glennon, Lisa Stirling and Finn Stirling, for the last year. We would really appreciate your likes, shares and comments below, to help us spread the word.

16.01.2022 ARC Power delivers a powerful Junior Heroes program. Helping children look for solutions rather than just seeing problems, is just one aspect of the life changing program.

15.01.2022 During the Junior Heroes program, children will develop an awareness of kindness and respect. Activities, discussions and role play create a space where children learn to recognise and appreciate when someone is kind to them and learn how to reciprocate.

15.01.2022 I hope you are all finding helpful ways to survive, or even thrive during isolation

14.01.2022 Before you panic, please remember our children are watching and looking to us for how to react. Try to remain calm and kind in these trying times

12.01.2022 With great challenges like this, I’ve always started out strong and determined but faltered as it got harder. If I was to look up at how much further I had to climb, I would think ‘there’s no way I can keep going, it’s too hard’. The only options: to admit defeat and go back, or put my head down and push through the pain. With stubbornness running strong through my blood, I would have to find a way to push through. The most effective way I have found, is to look down and foc...us on each step, ‘just one more step, just one more step’. My new goal - to make one more step, would be less daunting than the goal of making the whole journey. By shifting my focus to more manageable ’steps’, I shift my mindset from ‘It will be hard, I can’t make it’ to ‘It will be hard, but I can make it’. This looks like our climb out of COVID-19..... long and hard. Isolation has been really hard for most people, but don’t stop climbing now. Focus on each day...Just one more day...keep going (then tomorrow tell yourself the same thing... just one more day...) If you feel like you can’t keep climbing, please reach out to friends, family, professionals, anyone who walks by...someone is always willing to help you, sometimes you just have to ask.

12.01.2022 The activities in the Junior Heroes Program reinforce positive and productive ways to communicate feelings and needs, allowing children to develop healthy friendships from an early age.

11.01.2022 Ted is looking after my office in Chirnside while I keep Zooming from home. I’m very proud of all of my clients who are looking after their mental health and continue their sessions via Zoom. Adapting to change helps build resilience I’m also very proud and impressed with how well the children are coping with Zoom sessions.

02.01.2022 Simple things to help improve our mental health. If you’re going to stand in the sun.. hurry it might not be out long

01.01.2022 Still here for you and still working. Just a little different. Stay safe and positive
