25.01.2022 I have been a little behind with posting recent sessions, the silly season is certainly upon us But I love it!! Rather than sending out just a few sneak peaks into your galleries, I’ve been focusing on getting your entire gallery back to you sooner, so you can settle in front of the computer with a nice cuppa and breathe in all of the sweet sweet moments you shared at our session. I have some beautiful galleries headed out today while I’m catching up in the office after having no internet from the wild weather we just had, and then I’ll be rolling into this weekend full of more sessions with some beautiful fams!

24.01.2022 Before each in home session, I can almost guarantee I will get a message pardoning any mess, or saying how they have spent the morning tidying the most they could. My reply each time? Please STOP! Stop cleaning, I don’t need you to clean. I’m not going to come into your home and judge the pile of laundry on the dining table, or the dirty dishes by the sink. My gosh, I’ll probably raise you one and show you photos of my laundry floor which I’m not even sure anymore if there’s ...tiles or concrete. Or if the dirty dishes by the sink are from yesterday’s breakfast or the day before that. I’m coming into your home to capture your now. Ever so Perfectly dismantled, unraveled & untidy. I will shove whatever I feel I need to off to the side and heck, While your still getting ready, I’ll help load the dishwasher or fold some clothes. So to anyone who is worried about how their house might appear before your session, take this post as your guide.. washing to your right and dishes to your left.. but none of that matters if you just remain present with each other @ Newcastle, New South Wales See more

16.01.2022 A couple of Sundays ago, I rolled myself out of bed to meet this beautiful mama & two of her littles at sunrise for a dip in the ocean .. It’s never easy getting yourself out of bed at that hour, but gosh I would do it every morning just to capture these two beauties connecting and doing what they love most. There’s truly no better way to wake up then to float around in the ocean as the sun rises over the mountains. P.s sorry not sorry for the over share from this session

09.01.2022 I was hit with all the feels as soon as I arrived to this session. Peeking through the front doors, I witnessed this gorgeous moment of mum nourishing her babe. I contemplated just standing outside like a weirdo and capturing it all before I had even introduced myself The next hour was filled with so many breath taking moments I feel so damn lucky to have witnessed and captured

05.01.2022 Thankyou to everyone who has sent beautiful messages of love & support yesterday with Henry starting school. I’m still getting back to all your messages. It was a big day for both of us, he did so soo well! I’m so damn proud of him. Myself on the other hand, as expected sat in the corner of a room and cried most of the day So today we are having a little adventure day at the beach, I’ll be lapping him up every second before he goes back for his second day tomorrow

05.01.2022 This Mamas maternity session was a breath of fresh air over the weekend, especially with all that had been going on. And I come to realise that this was actually my first maternity session with just mama, no hubby or other kiddies. I’ve photographed Hayley’s family since her first pregnancy 5 years ago.. This is pregnancy number four, her last. So it was a very sad moment for me when I switched off my camera after that last night, knowing I wouldn’t capture Hayley like this again. So to any mamas who love the idea of a maternity session, but know hubby won’t be on board and the kiddies are too hard to wrangle on your own. Let’s go solo, just you, your bump + me & my lens, as we connect and embrace how amazing the woman’s body is and all you are capable of as you grow and prepare to meet this brand new life you’ve created.
