25.01.2022 There are 2 very big months of markets coming up. Aug 21st on the Sunday is Maleny Classics. We'll be having the car boot running that day as well. Last year we had 2000 people thru the gate. Sept is Wittafest. For those of you who came last year, our market was very popular on the day and we all did very well. We were a big drawcard. So if you want to be part of these 2 big markets, please let me know. Maleny Classics has online market applications. Fill in the Retro market form but mention you are a car boot stall so you get put in the market section.

24.01.2022 The Witta Car Boot market is on this Sat July 16th at the Witta Rec Club ( across from the growers markets). Lets make it a big one. July is always a great market month. I was thinking this one should be themed a garage sale market. Bring your big stuff down like furniture etc on a trailer, in vans etc. Still the cheapest market in town at only $12

23.01.2022 Start clearing out your spare rooms and closets. The next Witta Car Boot Market will be held in 2 weeks alongside Wittafest. We did really well there this time last year. Plus it ads to the fun of Wittafest. Bookings essential for this one and please don't book if you think you might pull out last minute. Spaces are limited for this one Only 3 more markets this year.

23.01.2022 Last month we were under the trees. What does everyone think about being under the trees for Oct 17th? I think with the heat, the shade was a pleasant change.

If you want a stall, bring a marquee cos it's still quite hot. The Rec Club won't be open for tea and coffee this month sorry, so bring a flask or a cold drink. I'd like to build up some regular stalls selling crafts and home made stuff. Might take a couple of months to get established but I'm happy to promote your stalls if you like. Please let me know if you'd like a stall.

Back up your utes and trailers with your garage sale furniture, car parts, household stuff and lots more. Come on down and grab a bargain. Stalls only $12 Set up from 6.30am. Gates open to the public at 7.30am

14.01.2022 October's Car Boot Market on Oct 17th should be a fun one. The theme is this month's markets is Men's workshops so guys and gals, it's time to clean out the garage and the shed down the back and get rid of all that stuff you've been hoarding for the last few years. Leftover paint, wallpaper, flooring bits, pavers, old bricks, timber from that reno and all Grandad's tool that you'll never use. It's time to declutter our lives and as they say, "One man's trash is another man's ...treasure". Stalls are still only $12, best value in town. Please book your stalls either thru our facebook page or on 0417626167, so I can let the Rec Club know numbers to cater for the event. Tea, coffee and hot food available at their canteen. As always, it's not just restricted to men's shed stuff, anything goes. I have my jewellery and nick knacks, Rik and Ursula will be there with their handmade craft and Anne with her bric a brac and cool clothes. So nice to see all our regulars. See more

14.01.2022 Dec 19th is the last market for this year. Themed for xmas, it's a great time to make lots of new xmas gifts to sell and all that wonderful xmas cooking. The specialty market theme is Kids Toys, so parents and grandparents, it's time for a clean out. The canteen will be open for coffee and drinks and we're in the shade of those beautiful trees. Perfect spot for a market. Let me know if you want a stall. Next years markets open in Jan.

12.01.2022 Yes the markets are on today. Supposedly sunny but no rain on the BOM sight till after lunch. Whew!

12.01.2022 Next market is on Nov 21st. It's another Booktopia theme. Time to clean out all your old books, mags, board games, jigsaws, DVD's, CD's etc. Helen's back this month so there will be tea/coffee and cakes available at the canteen. We have missed her for the last two markets. Although the theme for the mini-market is Books, all bric a brac is welcome as usual.

12.01.2022 It's spring time. Perfect time to clean out your household items and also your wardrobe. Turn those unwanted items into cash. Wittafest is on Sat 19th as well so there should be a great crowd for us. As they will be using the main oval and the clubhouse, the Car Boot Markets will be setting up under the trees just to the left inside the front gate. Perfect spot for people walking across from the Growers markets across the road. Feel free to dress in period costume if you want to join in the Wittafest fun. Stalls are $12 as usual and we set up from6.30am, ready to trade at 7.30am. Let me know if you want a stall this month. Oh and the mini swap meet section is Fashionistas this month.

08.01.2022 We have a few stall booked for tomorrow's markets. Come on down and nab a bargain. We're at the Witta Rec Club, across from the Witta Recycling Centre and Growers markets. bring a marquee please stallholders. Might get an occassional shower and protect you from the sun. No canteen open at the club yet so bring a thermos or a cold drink for yourself and something to snack on. Weather says sunny day with thunderstorm in afternoon but be prepared for the occassional shower. See you tomorrow

08.01.2022 Our new calendar dates for the year are ready. We're looking for stallholders both regular and casual. Got something to sell or do you have a regular market stall? We're also looking for more handmade stalls. We have a few good arts and crafts people now but I'd like to build it further. This is a great place to sell 2nd hand goods. Clean out your garage or clothes. To bring people to the market, you need regular stallholders. I've noticed lots of people book a stall then don't turn up on the day. Could you let me know if you can't make it please. Let's make this year, the year we really put the markets on the map. Let you friends know you are having a stall. Let them know it's at the Witta Rec Club, across the road from the growers markets at the old school. It's twice the markets. See you this Saturday for the first market of the year.

07.01.2022 Yay, we have a few stalls booked for this Sat's Witta Car Boot Markets. Wittafest is also on at same location so we'll be joining in the Wittafest fun for a couple of hours. Should be a good crowd. We'll be there to set up at 6.30am for a 7.30am start and trading until 2pm. Time to clear our that spare room and earn a few dollars. Only 3 more markets left this year. 05.01.2022 Due to the poor turn out by stallholders and patrons in the wet weather in January, it's been decided that there will be no markets if the weather is inclement. Please ring me early on market day if you're not sure because it might be fine here and rainy where you live and Vice Versa. My rationale was to book a venue with undercover areas for market days but people don't want to come out in the rain, even if they are inside markets.

Stalls still only $12. Cheapest markets in town. Sell straight out of the back of your car, trailer, bring tables, marquees, a tarp. How you set up is your business. We're very laid back. 04.01.2022 We're moving back to our old location outside the Rec Club Canteen and along the oval so make sure you bring your marquees for shade. Although we love the shade and the breeze, people still expect us to be at the old location. Ah well, can't say we didn't try.

03.01.2022 Thanks to all the stallholders who braved the February heat yesterday. Nice selection of stalls, few punters about. Feb isn't the best time for markets we know but most of you still did quite well and sold a bit of stuff which was great to hear. I sold some items that I've had for awhile so I was pleased. Like they say, you just don't know who's going to be there that was meant for that item. March should have the punters back into buying mode so I'm looking forward to a good market.
