Students from all undergraduate or graduate programs with an interest in growing as a developer are welcome. By joining a DSC, students grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build solutions for local businesses and their community. 19.01.2022 Challenge yourself, learn some new skills and compete for a $50,000 first prize! Ready Trader One is a programming challenge run by Optiver Asia Pacific. The competition involves coding a bot that can trade in a simulated market, trading against other teams to deliver the best result.... Through a series of tournaments, your team will get feedback on how your bot is performing, and what could be improved to get a better result. You'll combine programming and analytical skills to make your Autotrader more competitive each after each tournament. After a final tournament, the top eight teams will come to Sydney for a full-day hackathon and a live final match. 17.01.2022 WIT is committed to supporting women regardless of race, religion, colour and in order to show support to the current movement of seeking justice for black and indigenous people, we've donated $200 to the FreeHer fundraiser. In Western Australia, people who have no criminal convictions are imprisoned if they do not have the capacity to pay a fine and single aboriginal mothers make up the majority of it. This fundraiser is to free women from languishing in prison for not being able to pay their fines and have their warrants vacated. Please consider donating if you have the capacity to! Figgie is four- player card game played at Jane Street using a custom deck of 40 cards two suits consisting of 10 cards each, one suit consisting of 8 cards, and one of 12. For this event, you will spend the first hour or so learning how to play the game in small teams, after which the tournament will begin and you will be playing against players from o...ther teams.
