12.01.2022 Sharing this information again as we have had lots of questions about symbols and labelling... Yes, it can be confusing, we understand. The good news is that t...he new labelling program, the Australasian Recycling Label (ARL), has been introduced to cut the confusion. The ARL will make it easier for you to get the right packaging in the right bin! It is now appearing on your packaging (and being rolled out across others as we speak). All packaging containing the ARL symbols shown here has been assessed in an online verification tool called the Packaging Recyclability Evaluation Portal (PREP) and IS suitable for REDcycling. To find out more about the new recycling labelling system, head to arl.org.au #ARL #softplasticsrecycling #AustraliaRecyclingLabel #REDcycle #makethingseasier #nomoreconfusionfusion

10.01.2022 The recycling program you've been waiting for is finally here! TerraCycle have partnered with BIC to create a national recycling program for any brand of used writing instruments, to help write a better future So don't write that next pen off! Recycle it with TerraCycle at www.terracycle.com/writing-instruments-recycling-au

09.01.2022 Calling all REDcyclers to help us out! This bag of batteries fortunately was found in a REDcycle bin by our sorters, before it was missed. This is a reminder t...hat we CANNOT accept this sort of thing in our bins. Items like these batteries have the potential to damage the processing equipment, or contaminate a whole bale of recyclable material. If you see someone placing batteries or any other type of inappropriate waste in a REDcycle bin, please speak up. Contamination of this nature is becoming more frequent and we need our fabulous REDcyclers to help!

08.01.2022 It's not too late! You can still register your own Clean Up site...or type in your postcode to join one nearby www.cleanup.org.au
