16.01.2022 We don’t know where to start! Brent brought home the lead light sketches from work to organise & sort. This isn’t even half of them! Every leadlight at Robson Glass is cut & built on top of a detailed hand drawn sketch. There’s so many beautiful designs here, some funky ones, and some sentimental ones. It was lovely to find Bill’s gorgeous bluebirds! These scrunched designs represent hours & hours of work. They’re covered in claret, they’re fragile & they’re dusty but we’re going to preserve what we can.

11.01.2022 This busy corner where our Main Rd premises is, has undergone some dramatic changes through the years! The building was originally built & run as a pub called The Green Dragon for a short while before being occupied by I&J Roff (tailors/men’s apparel) from the late 1850’s until 1936. WJ Robson & Sons (locally established in 1911) moved to this premises in the late 1940’s from Dana St. Thank-you to some lovely locals who have shared some of these photos with us. We think they’re brilliant!
