22.01.2022 New Logo! 8 years in business we thought it was time for a change- we hope the sleek new design represents how WJS has grown and evolved in that time and we are excited for the direction it is heading!

22.01.2022 Spot the difference! Even some matching weld sparks. Spare a thought for these two in the 41degree heat but with some super early starts managed to finish off the steel work for 12 grain feeders this week.

19.01.2022 This custom made tray drove off with its owner yesterday. Its not your average tray with *Fuel Tank * Water tank * Airbags * Under Tray Drawer * Multiple toolboxes and Tradies boxes made to the customers specs! We think it looks pretty good!

13.01.2022 Weve been a little quiet on here but after a family holiday to WA but Wayne has been hard at it again since getting home. This is a 9 x 6.5 m pergola that was finished off the day before we left. Client was extremly happy with the finished product and we cant wait to see it when it has been styled.

09.01.2022 Drove this beast from Lake Cargelligo back to Book Book yesterday, hooked up the rip mounder WJS Welding made a while ago and the old girl got stuck into work today on the 20,000,000 trees project. This is a perfect example of the "Contracting" part of our business. Stuart McNickle

09.01.2022 Two new farm fences and entry gates built and erected recently.

09.01.2022 It was the boss mans birthday yesterday but he was still hard at it and back into it today. This was an ex NRMA ute body that has been revamped into a pretty handy tool trailer. Everything was sanded back (by me ), painted, reinforced, some new flooring put in, a cage at the front for oil drums and electric brakes added. It is now having some more tool compartments added and the owner has new tyres ready to go once its home.

07.01.2022 The Infamous Circus is in town this month and during travel small cracks formed in some of the props. Wayne went and repaired them prior to opening night on Friday and we went to watch on Saturday night. Highly recommend the show if you can get there!

06.01.2022 Welcome to WJS Welding Nik! Nik is our new mature age apprentice- coming to us all the way from DARWIN! (Shows the power of social media- Niks wife saw our call out for an apprentice) Nik was born in Young but has moved around since joining the army 10 years ago. He has a very similar family situation to us with his wife and 2 little ones ... He follows Rugby League (Newcastle Knights) & is a HUGE fishing camping and 4wding fan! Nik has literally hit the ground running since arriving a few weeks ago and has smashed everything Wayne has put to him. We are so lucky to have found him! (I also told him about these creepy photos I took )

06.01.2022 On Sundays the whole family works... Weve had a heap of new likes this week so thought I would introduce us. We are the faces behind WJS Welding! My husband Wayne is the welder extrordinaire and creative mastermind (and he thinks hes the boss ) Im Amanda I am the computer savvy one in the business, I do the books but I am also pretty handy on the tools too (I also think Im the boss) The cheeky one in the background is Luca our 2.5 year old daughter. She IS the boss!

04.01.2022 *DOG KENNELS * We delivered this 4 bay dog kennel a few weeks ago and got to meet the 4 beautiful dogs that would be sleeping in it. Dont forget these are custom made to your specs so if you need them bigger /smaller/ taller/deeper we can do it! Thanks Mick for sending us the photo once they were in!

03.01.2022 George from Uscan Services dropped by today. We built his fully transportable aluminium sheep handler for pregnancy scanning a few years back and it has recently notched up 500,000 (HALF A MILLION!!! ) sheep pass through it and its still holding up a treat!

03.01.2022 Wayne, Luca, Hadley, Doug the dog and myself welcomed a new member to our family last week. Macklen James He has been born into such a confusing time for the world but for us at the moment WJS Welding WILL BE OPEN and Wayne will continue to work while he can- with reduced/sporadic hours. ... Wayne and Jayden both have young families and we are fortunate that they are able to practice social distancing while they are working together in the workshop, they are adhering to handwashing requirements and limiting leaving the shed but we do ask that anyone needing to come to the shed calls first and practices social distancing from the boys aswell. Our thoughts are with everyone that has already lost their employment and our fingers are crossed we can get through this together and come out the other side.

02.01.2022 The latest piece to leave the shed this week is a purpose built timber sieving bucket for a local timber company to help load fire wood or clean up scrub.
