Kemer kemer asesered comes from the Meriam language "Kemer kemer" meaning "Whole" and "Asesered" meaning "Care". The Meriam language is a dialect from the Eastern Island groups of The Torres Strait Islands, located on the top end of Queensland. Eastern Islands include Darnley Island, Stephen Island and Murray Island. ... Hi, My name is Joanne Santo and I am the proud Owner and Founder of WholistiCare Kemer Kemer Asesered. WholistiCare Kemer Kemer Asesered was brought to life through my own families personal story with our son Aaron, Aaron came into our lives at the age of 6 through the foster care system. Over the past 27 years, We have learnt that Aaron lives with Speech impairment, Severe Autism, Delayed development, Intellectual disability, FADS, and Cerebral Palsy, We also know Aaron's disability does not define him. As a family , We have come to learn and understand the many gaps of services (all rural,remote and cities alike) disadvantaging people living with a disability and strongly believe we at "WholistiCare" can make a difference. As a family we are in this together making sure you get the "Whole" benefit of services you need to support yourself/or your loved one living with a disability. Do you have the following? -Experience working with people living with a disability... -Experience supporting client with complex behaviours. - Demonstrated experience with personal care, medications, hoists and manual handling -Passionate about making a difference, confident and committed to helping -Flexible in working shifts, on-call and weekends - Current Blue and Yellow Cards - or be willing to obtain - Current National Police check transcript A current 'C' Class Driver’s License P1 Provisional or above, acceptable under Queensland Legislation and be willing to transport clients in your personal car -Proof of Comprehensive Insurance- A current First Aid/CPR Certificate or be willing to obtain one - Minimum in Cert III in Disability/Individual Support with (Administration of medication) or be willing to obtain one.
