18.01.2022 WHOLE LOTTA NEWS I think we are all across the announcements regarding the easing (or not) of restrictions over the last week, so I don't need to go over a...ll of that again. What I can tell you is what it means for us here at Whole Lotta Love... It means another month at least of trying to find money to pay some rent, utilities, insurance and all of the other fun overheads that a venue incurs... Going through all of the grants and "funding" that have been announced, weeding through all of the smoke and mirrors to see if there is actually anything that can legitimately help us stay here... And basically just trying to find ways to not go insane, not go under, and keep fighting. Over the last 6 weeks, we have been able to get through because of everyone who has bought from our store; either fruit & veg or merch. You legends have seriously helped more than you will ever know. Not just financially, but all of the messages of support and love have given us a smile on the darkest of days, and for that we will be eternally grateful. Sadly though, we still need your help. How you ask? New merch will open up for pre-sale over the next week Fruit, veg and other staples are still available to be delivered for free to the local area on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays Don't live local? Pick up now available between 2pm-4pm on Wednesdays only (orders must still be made by 5pm the day before) Add booze to your box orders Tell your friends about how awesome everything you bought is, so they get jealous and also buy from us (how good is FOMO!) We are also looking at ways to bring you live music, so make sure you stay tuned to our Facey page for updates. 10.01.2022 UPDATE TIME Hello Whole Lotta Lovers Just a quick little update for you all...... This will be the last week that we are doing our Fruit & Veg deliveries. It's been a great couple of months, and we have received so much support and love from you all which has blown us away... but with the gradual reduction in restrictions, it's time for us to start focussing on trying to come back as a live music venue. We still need your support, now probably more so than ever! We will still be doing merch sales, and releasing new designs every month. This month, we have the brand new "The Whole" tee up for grabs. We are currently taking pre-orders and will be shipping in about 2-3 weeks. To try and clear some of the final stock from the essentials deliveries, we will be selling $10 OF STUFF, which could include a mix of pasta, tinned tomatoes, organic garlic, and passata and what ever else we may have left! 10.01.2022 HELLO WHOLE LOTTA LOVERS Sorry for the radio silence lately, it's been because of a mix being busy and also being down, but, today is an up day, so I though...t it timely to pass on some news to you all EXCITING NEWS STUFF As some of you might have seen, we were fortunate enough to be announced as one of the live music venues that are receiving support from Creative Victoria and the Vic Gov. This is HUGE, and means that we will be able to keep trucking until at least the end of the year... what comes after that, hell no one knows at this point, but we are going to make the best of any situation we are put in NEW THINGS AT THE BAR We announced a couple of months ago that a project was approved by Business Moreland that would make things a bit more rad for when bands can come back... well... we are super excited to let you all know what that is :) We are currently working on building professional video live streaming capabilities at the bar. That means that even though we may be capped at a handful of punters at live shows for a while, we will have high quality video and audio streams making gigs accessible to those at home! Giving bands a chance to sell more tickets, and even sell their merch online during the show More details and other features will be announced when we know when gigs are coming back VIPS Since launching our VIP and SUPER VIP memberships in August, we have had almost 100 people sign up We've said thank you before, but we need you all to know that this has literally been the difference between us being able to pay our electricity and insurance each month, and not. So once again THANK YOU!!! Now, because of how many of you have signed up, we may need to wait until we are back to full capacity to have our first VIP party (or half capacity and run it twice)... but trust me, it will be worth the wait!! We miss you, we miss the bands, we miss everything, but we are almost there, so keep safe, keep doing the right thing, and with any luck we will be seating you in the beer garden again soon xoxo

04.01.2022 CLOSING AGAIN DUE TO MORELAND HOTSPOT . Last week we opened for the first time since the original lockdown. We implemented all of the recommended safety pr...otocols and feel like we did a great job enforcing them... however with the city of Moreland currently being a COVID hotspot, we have made the tough decision to shut down again until the local active cases reduces again . The health and safety of our staff and patrons is paramount, so we will continue to assess how things are going in our local area before re-re-opening. . We want to thank everyone who came in last week, all of the bands that played at the gigs, and every person who has shown us support... for a moment there we thought we mightve been back! But it is to protect all of you legends that we have made this decision. . 01.01.2022 YES WE ARE STILL OPEN This morning the government imposed additional restrictions on indoor gatherings to max 100 people. Whole Lotta Love has a legal capa...city of 100 people already, however, we are doing a voluntary reduction to 50 people max. We are doing this because we want to still offer a place where our regulars and locals can come and have a drink after a crazy day, so we can still provide a place for muso's to play, and so that there is a chance that our business & dream can survive. Like with other venues, I will be opening up an online store so if you want to help support and buy bar merch you can, so please stay tuned for updates on that.
