After spending some time in other practices as a requirement of his specialist training, we’re very happy to welcome back Dr Zhao Huang as a senior registrar, fresh off passing all his fellowship examinations ... 13.01.2022 Saturday 26th September - Update on Fees On April 2nd this year we announced that we would temporarily move to bulk-billing for all patients until the end of September. As September is drawing to a close we thought we’d better put out a gentle reminder that our fees will return to normal from October 1st. Importantly, this includes both Telehealth and face to face consultations. We will have some posts this week about how billing will work for Telehealth.... We will continue to bulk-bill all pension card holders, and children under the age of 16. We also offer reduced fees to health care card holders. 12.01.2022 Update Monday 12th October 2020 Roof work has started!!! You may have noticed, we’ve upped the inconvenience stakes with extensive scaffolding required as our roof replacement gets underway. It’ll be accompanied by lots of mystery noises from above when in the clinic Please take care in the carpark around the scaffolding!

10.01.2022 Update Monday, 28th September Wet Paint!! You may notice some changes around the place the next couple of weeks. First the surgery is getting new exterior paint, which has started this morning. Later in October we’ll have a new Colourbond roof going on ... -Dr David Chessor

04.01.2022 Fees and Billing Update - Wednesday, 30th September A reminder that our fees return to normal tomorrow after we have been temporarily bulk-billing all patients through the last 5 months of the pandemic. Full info on our fees is available at www.westsidemedical.com.au/fees You’ll notice changes to our options in the HotDoc app (screengrab below) to allow you to select the right appointment type for telephone and video consults. Patients who aren’t eligible for bulk-billing wi...ll pre-fill your payment details when booking which we will then charge only after your appointment is completed. Face to face consults will just be billed in clinic like always - but remember we are cashless due to the whole pandemic situation!
