11.01.2022 Sometimes not doing the wrong thing is not enough. White Ribbon Day reminds us of our obligation to bring about change. Change requires the education of our children as to what respectful relationships with women mean. Change requires public conversation about a violence which for too long has not been called out or has remained unspoken for fear of shame or recrimination. Today, Amanda Doring, Gina Haramis and Sallyanne Henderson were our WMD Law ambassadors with the ho...nour of walking with Daniel Boyd, Nick Kontozis and Caroline Speakman to help raise awareness around violence against women, men and children on the Walk for Respectful Relationships. At the conclusion of their walk they attended our office morning tea with the entire Sutherland WMD Law team to listen to a heartfelt message from Caroline Speakman and Daniel Boyd and together they watched the livestream presentation. Hopefully we were able to raise awareness for this worthwhile cause and we invite you to do the same in your family and in your social circles. Remember, if you or someone you know needs assistance, we invite you to call us or to come in to our office to discuss how we and others may be able to assist. #everystepcounts2020 #standupspeakout #wmdlaw See more
