18.01.2022 We are excited to be welcoming all athletes for week one of the 2020/2021 season this Saturday! To view which events will be held each week please check out our website: www.wmlac.org.au If you still need to collect your athlete number or buy a uniform item please pop by the shed between 1.30-2pm before competition starts.... A few things to take note of: Competition start time Saturday briefing/competition begins at 2pm. To ensure we follow COVID safety procedures all briefings will be held on the oval, NOT under shade sail. Please remember to put sunscreen on! Parking Part of our arrangement with the school is that our members are not to use the school grounds when parking. Please park on Wondall Rd and walk in across the ovals. Covid We will be running competition each week, as long as everyone adheres to our Covid safe plan: - Do not enter the grounds if sick - When entering the grounds, you MUST sign in on the EVA Check-in app by scanning the bar code with your smart phone camera or using the EVA Check-in app - Physical distancing rules need to be followed where practical - Practise good hand hygiene - sanitiser will be available. - Athletes will need to carry their water bottles to each event instead of putting them into the tubs. - Sign out when leaving the grounds. Supervision For safety reasons, we ask that no child or parent uses any of the equipment unless supervised by a Centre official. We strongly recommend that at least one Parent/Carer should stay to watch their children compete each week. If you can volunteer to help your child’s age group, even better Canteen We have a canteen that is generally open, however it will not be open this week. Clothes & Footwear Trialists are welcome to wear any comfortable clothes and shoes. Athletes registered for the full season need to wear a club shirt, with their athlete number and age patch sewn on. We look forward to seeing you all!
